*** By nature you can't eat raw olives,
since these contain oleuropin,
which needs to be destroyed by curing the olives.
Usually the use of salt is involved,
but there are also olives available
that haven't been cured with the use of salt.
They are hard to get though.
If you are susceptible to acne,
you can't eat 'normal' olives
but need non-salt cured olives.
