Goodness, I've never heard of that before. All the testimonies I've read spoke of improved dental health. Thankyou for telling me.
It makes my gums stronger but I've no idea whether its affecting my teeth.

I've not heard that before.....what does it do? How is it harmful?
It has been used as a medicine for thousands of years. It is important in Ayurveda, and was recommended by Hippocrates and Pythagoras. I've only ever heard good thing about it. How is it poisonous? :(

Re: Vit. D and vegan

Vegan...That one always leaves me like "Why?" :) To me, the logic is broken. 'Do not kill to survive' That one only applies to strict frutarians. Most vegans (all vegans I have ever known) eats plants, and plants have to be 'killed' before you eat them, or at least decapitated (is that the right wo...

I use mustard powder as a painkiller....I take a teaspoon a day (when needed). I find it doesn't work for some pains (headache), but for others (bone or muscle) it is far more effective than paracetamol. It's marvellous stuff.

I use: (I ask the shops for eggs and honey they throw away past their sell by date. They give me them for free so it doesn't affect the animals.) Shampoo - raw eggs. Stir yolk and white together. Works wonderfully, removes anything from my hair even honey. I try to leave on for 5 minutes before I wa...

I have the Jack La Lanne Power Juicer, which I like because you don't have to chop things up - it takes whole apples/carrots etc.
I've never used another centrifugal so I don't know how the juice itself compares.

I bought it for £50 off ebay. I think that was half price.

Is it good to have some cooked foods in the diet? Some think so. Kinda like Wai saying Munch-foods help maintain the diet. Maybe a little cooked food helps one stay mainly raw...??? Not for me. If I eat a little cooked food it gives me physical cravings for cooked food and makes it really hard to s...

I used to hate the taste of avocados. But if I put them in fruit smoothies I can't taste them - blend 1 avocado, 2 bananas and strawberries or blueberries. If you add water it makes a drink, if you don't (use a hand blender) it makes a dessert. You can't taste the avocado, it just gives it a wonderf...
