From a health stand point, are fresh herbs concerning?RRM wrote:Thats individually very different.
The sample diet is very strict to eliminate all possible causes (incl. all herbs, spcies, incl fresh).
After that, you can start experimenting; also with salt, spices, herbs etc.

Non-Salt Olive Curing
I bought some fresh olives recently and was wondering if anyone knew how to cure them without salt. The only method I came across was soaking them in olive oil for a several months. Does anyone else have any information?

Basil/Parsley
So I was reading up on spices and it makes sense how they can cause problems, but what about this? "Consume as little salt and spices as possible. If you want to spice up your foods, use fresh herbs like chives and basil, and garlic." Is this indicative towards refraining from spices all together (i...

Re: Digestion and Acne
RRM, since the digestion of clean protein will complete terminate after a set time (I think it's 8 hours), how could it possibly cause any problems? I'm aware I can experiment; I was just curious on the scientific process of this specifically. What if I were to eat my protein in the morning, then 12...

Re: Digestion and Acne
Why would foods that are hard to digest have an correlation to acne? How would they cause water retention? How can anything, purely raw cause water retention by itself (not consuming clean protein with it)? Items such as onions and garlic.

Does Apple Cider Vinegar follow the same guidelines? Is sugar and raw honey (I know it's raw) alright as well?

Candy
What are the feelings towards commercialized candy on this diet? I can understand how anything involving chocolate/wafers would obviously be a no, as they constitute dirty proteins, but what about something like gummy worms which contains none (based on the nutrition facts), or very little? Why woul...

Exactly my thoughts. I went for a blood test so we'll see the results soon.

RRM: "Yes, you can always use vinegar."
Oscar: "Balsamic vinegar is less good for acne-prone people than the other two."
Why is that?

Re: Sodium Deficiency
I understand you guys are motivated to help people, and I really appreciate it. I didn't mean to come across in a negative way. I was just a little alarmed that I was following the diet for a few months and my sodium was that low.

I really want to try to continue this diet, but when I'm presented with contradictory information, it's very discouraging. I did and search, read the freeacnebook (I know it's outdated), and I can't find a clear answer. So please, what are the opinions on these foods relative to acne? 1. Onion (shal...

Re: Sodium Deficiency
