Re: Wai Warrior - for autophagy - AN EXPERIMENT

RRM, is there a limit to how much protein we can have in our 1 meal a day (warrior style wai)? How do we know what that would be? I've been searching for that and can't find info for the 1 meal a day? What I have found is that a person needs more protein in that meal, due to it's just 1 time a day y...

Re: Fictors Fasting Adventures

Update: 400 grams of meat/fish/eggs works fine. As does boiled potatoes, sweet potatoes, olives and salt (fair amounts). I must admit it feels great to eat «normal» even after almost 10 years of pretty strict Wai diet. I dont see myself frying my meat or adding milk and grains any time soobn though...

Re: Protein needs?

Your protein needs, if you are not looking to build a lot of muscle, is really not a lot. If you have 0,5 grams protein per kilo of bodyweight that should be more than enough. Your protein tolerance goes up with fasting (regarding acne). I am not sure if protein needs actually goes up as well, if y...

Protein needs?

- Would we calculate our body weight to .8 to tell us how much protein is ideal per day?
I'm at my ideal weight, I've seen some suggest multiply your ideal weight with .8 .

- We're only eating 1 meal a day so it's safe to eat a lot of protein in one meal (such a short time frame)?

Re: Wai Warrior - for autophagy - AN EXPERIMENT

Do you drink OJ (no pulp) literally at the same time with your fish meal? Or how much time do you have between having All that OJ and then your meal? I always first drink Oj, and within a couple of minutes (or later) i start eating salmon. it's because you're drinking "fruit juice" that your bowels...

Re: Farm raised salmon?

the wild tasted so "fishy" when raw Wild salmon is usually frozen. Just let it thaw in warm water (you should be able to keep your hand in the water without hurting) and it will not taste fishy. Maybe it's where we live, Texas, all the "wild" salmon is frozen and either sold by companies still froz...

Re: Fat added to fruit = diabetes?

Very good RRM 👍🏻 I can completely see how eating when the body is not hungry (emotional eating) leads to these imbalances. Makes perfect sense. It's something I've noticed about food before I knew anything about diabetes and other health challenges ppl go through, that's why I wondered about wai lif...

Re: Farm raised salmon?

Ah I see, thank you that helps. I'm still experimenting, I'm sure if I felt best eating small meals this would be way (wai😜) easy but I feel best still on juices until evening and as much as I wish it weren't so lots of fruit (sweet it nonsweet) in a small window is not pleasant esp for sleep hours ...

Re: Farm raised salmon?

here where I live there is no good quality fish too ... I eat mackerel only occasionally (slow cooked), tastes depends on how fresh fish was before freezing it. I think it is a better choice than farmed salmon anyway. Mainly I try to stick to good quality egg yolks (ducks, chickens or turkeys, cage...

Mackerel is better choice
Have you found mackerel that doesn't taste fishy?
Maybe you get yours at a nation wide store chain?

Farm raised salmon?

The only sushi grade fish I can find has all been farmed. Whole Foods, central market, Asian grocers, and asked our local sushi restaurant about there supplier and it's all farmed too. I've been using farmed salmon, since I juice all day when I eat fish it's raw and 8 oz. am I hurting myself by eati...
