the question behind allergies

Hi, it's been a while since I've visited the board! I'm looking forward to looking through the new posts... I'm still happily on the diet, after almost three years, except...I got cocky. :) Hence, my problem: I was happily 100% for a while, but you know how it goes...I sort of slipped into eating oc...

Cellulite, acne, and overweight. Then I realized that I ALSO wanted it for my state of mind (energy, happiness, alertness, not being plagued by cravings). I also started getting more interested in the body, especially because you notice so many changes on this diet. So I am doing it for health (and,...

Not just to lose weight, but to be healthy, you should probably be consuming more sugars. Sugar is needed to give the brain and muscles energy; it is also needed to produce serotonine, without which you could become depressed (and as far as losing weight, it inhibits cravings). I would recommend tha...

Is it just me, or can anyone else "taste" the difference between organic and unorganic fruits (with thin peels)? I've experimented with this off and on (especially because I'd like to save money), and there has always been a clear taste difference. Organic tomatoes and apples taste so much more "ali...

I've tried a variety of olive oils. The one that I LOVE, which I could easily drink plain without any "ugh" feeling in my throat, is: --bionaturae Organic (extr. virgin, cold-pressed) olive oil (and it's readily available in most health stores on both the East and West coast in the U.S.) Maybe it's ...

mballinger,
It took my cellulite about a year and a half to fully disappear...however, I was also eating munch foods, so if I were on the diet all the way, I'm sure it would've been quicker.

Keep it up!!

I only had a couple of drinks the other day--for the first time in a long time--and I spent the whole rest of the day throwing up. It was awful! Yet I realized then that perhaps it is GOOD that my body is so sensitive, because after all, alcohol IS poison. I vow never to have another drink again! By...

No way, Oscar, you look about 25! And Corinne and Curlygirl, you two are gorgeous! (And, from reading your posts, I can truly say both inside and out) In fact, all this has almost inspired me to post my own picture; but I am about to post my most intimate sexual habits in the "sex" thread, so that c...

Hey ladies, Maybe we could post some essential oil-perfume recipess? I am currently experimenting, but I'll try to have something up soon. By the way, I see there was some mention of mineral makeup a few post back. I myself use Bare Escentuals bronzer, and for some reason believed the hype and thoug...

Hey Cairidh, Well, at least we know why you've broken out! (not eating anything for a couple days, sick. I wonder what it is? And are you feeling better?) I think it's great that you are so conscious and selfless when it comes to animals. Animals have lives just as we have lives and cruelty is never...

Homo floresiensis and diet

Most of you will probably remember when, about a year or two ago, they discovered a new species of 3 ft.-tall people (7 bodies, 18,000 years old) in Flores, Indonesia. Perhaps like some of you, the first thing I wondered about was what their diet consisted of. And sure enough, they were mainly meat-...

Hi! Bambi: Glad to hear how you're doing! I'm also 22! And actually modeling doesn't interest me. I am busy with school, I don't want to sign any restricting contracts, and anyway, I'm not 14 anymore! Anyway, to respond to your questions: As far as eating my protein meal: I walk every single day, so...
