I'm another one who does not like the feeling of fiber in my stomach or gut. My ideal diet is to consume my fruit as juice and to have raw egg yolks in the morning and evening (so about 4-6 a day). I juice the fruits with my juicer each morning. I really enjoyed cantaloupe and watermelon juice for s...

I'm imagining that the Wai diet will not give the same positive results if you in the long run leave out the yolks and fish. The nuts don't have the same qualities as animal products. I notice throughout Wai's Book when referring to Raw Fish and Raw Egg Yolks, she will frequently say to include in ...

Re: Freezing Brazil Nuts
Does freezing brazil nuts create "dirty proteins"? Im sorry that i cannot be more specific, but we actually dont know; there are no scientific studies regarding this, but we suspect that it might. At the time we were under the impression that a specific article did indicated this, but it did not cl...

Microwave Cooking (munch foods)
Occasionally I get a craving for a baked potato and will have it as a munch food. Is it acceptable to eat a baked potato that has been cooked using a microwave oven? Does microwaving create even "dirtier" proteins than other means of cooking, such as oven baking or steaming?

Freezing Brazil Nuts
Does freezing brazil nuts create "dirty proteins"?
I have been preserving my brazil nuts by keeping them frozen but have read in the Wai's book that freezing foods, as well as cooking them, creates dirty protein.

I hear what you are saying Avo & RRM. I've recently been digging into my jar of Cocopura raw coconut oil and it appeals to me a lot more than Olive oil. I'm ok not mixing it into my juice, but just eating a little off of a spoon throughout the day. I'm going to try that for a while. Avo, I feel that...

Thanks avo. I really am liking the technique of just sipping the pure juice WITHOUT olive oil (or any other oil). I listen to my body's hunger signals, and periodically throughout the day I may want a brazil nut or two or three and that does the trick for me on blood sugar balance ... plus really he...

"Juice Feasting" -- using Fruit Juice & Raw Eg
There is a new type of juice diet/juice fast being promoted in the raw food community called a "Juice Feast." The diet involves drinking large amounts of fresh raw juice (fruit AND vegetable, especially green juices such as celery juice) so as to maintain an adequate caloric and nutritional intake. ...

Problem with Olive Oil mixed in O.J.
Actually, its VERY easy to make a big bottle of juice and then to add some OO to it. I use Bariani cold-pressed raw olive oil ... and the problem I have when mixing it into my daily stash of orange juice (or other fresh-made fruit juice) is that when the olive oil gets cold it thickens. So when I'm...

I'm referring to "Organic" as applied to foods grown without the use of added chemical fertilizers, pesticides, etc. ... all the criteria that is taken into consideration in designating a food item "certified organic." "Naturally" organic Brazil nuts?
It's my understanding that all Brazil Nuts come from "wild" (uncultivated) trees and that any attempts at growing brazil nuts commercially have not been successful.
So wouldn't all in-shell Brazil Nuts then be "Organic"?

Re: Liquid Diet
You dont need fiber. For the fruit itself its essential; it gives structure to the fruit. without fiber, no fruit. But no, your body doesnt need it; only when your bowels are sedated. 'Old matter' will get cleaned up anyway, gradually, also without 'fiber assistance'. Thanks RRM ... exactly the ans...
