Acne and Allergies

So I'm a highly allergic person, I'm allergic to more fruits than I am unallergic to. I was wondering when it comes to food allergies, how bad is that for acne? If I am allergic to say oranges, which I am, is eating oranges completely useless for me in that it provides no nutrients because my body s...

Could someone explain to me exactly how fat and sugars are metabolized in the blood? What mechanisms keep the body regulating glucose and fat at the same time?

I've recently switched to a primarily juice based diet and I've noticed that my tongue is always coated white. Even after I brush it doesn't completely come off. Anyone have this problem? Is this healthy and normal? I know for sure that my mouth tastes sugary all the time. I don't use a straw.

Interesting, maybe my body will take longer to heal from the effects of the antibiotics. I think I've always have had problems sleeping, most of the time I think I just attributed it to stress and worrying; I am a light sleeper, in that I don't fall asleep easily and I wake up easily and often times...

I eat about 5 yolks a day, I've tried more but I don't think it makes any difference for me in terms of sleep quality. I drink mainly juices throughout the day with OO, so I should be getting enough fat and sugars, the only possiblity I can think of is not drinking enough by the time I go t sleep. I...

Sleep and sufficient calories?

Is there a correlation between sleeplessness and undernourishment? I haven't been sleeping well lately, as in it takes me very long to fall asleep, I usually have to stay up until 2-3am, which is bad since I have to wake up at like 8am. I'm thinking it may have something to do with not ingesting eno...

Pains in throat and sides of lips

Hi everyone, I've been on the diet for about a little over a week and a half now and things are going well for the most part. I've been learning how to ingest enough calories by being really conscientious about how much I drink during the day. A couple of days ago my throat started to hurt and almos...

I was wondering what you all do for a living. It would seem to me that if you are strict about this diet, it is very difficult to do any kind of job that requires a lot of socializing as most socializing happens with food and drinks. I can't imagine what it must be like to have to meet with clients ...

Sleep is the one thing I wish I could get under control. I can do this diet and control what I eat and when I eat, but I can't for the life of me control when I fall asleep, unless I use some kind of drug. I try to get about 7-8 hrs of sleep a night, but this happens at best three or four days out o...

I suffer from IBS too and I've been doing this diet for a couple of weeks and I find it much easier on my digestive system than the way I used to eat. I think I would have what you would classify IBS-D, I get diarrhea often when I eat carbs and other things that aren't on the Wai diet. For me it is ...

Sipping and maintaining stable blood sugar levels

So I have a question about sipping juice, sounds silly I know, but I've been wondering how those of you that drink 2 or more liters of juice a day manage to drink so much. I can't seem to finish more than a liter in a day, which I fear is too little because according to my calculations I would need ...

I had an allergy test and I don't remember specific fruits coming up, but I know nuts did. I know that I am specifically allergic to a variety of pollens and trees so that might have something to do with the fruit allergies. I haven't tried eating the organic kinds, perhaps that would make a differe...

Problems: topicals; 95% strict; allergic 2 fruits & nuts

Hello, The is my first time posting on the boards, I've been following them for about three months now. I tried the diet out for about two months, though I can't say that I've been 100% strict because I have been using topicals, but as far as the diet went I was about 95%. I have been traveling a lo...
