Thank you. I am not on this diet for acne, but for cellulite. I don't have much, but I turn 30 in October, and I'll admit it, I'm a bit vain...not shallow, just vain. Thanks for the suggestion of the little hand held juicer. I'll have to find one of those. If not though, I think I'll chance the stor...

OJ, Eggs and Vacation

I looked for a thread regarding this but couldn't find one. I'm going on vacation for a week, and I will not be able to get fresh OJ or my fresh Omega enriched eggs. Can I substitute with store-bought OJ and regular eggs? Thanks.

To dionysus and slea: Read the book, there are many experiments, studies and reports from around the globe. It's not just from one man and one study. To Seth: This book has absolutely nothing to do with good and bad fats are you sure you read it? You wrote--He is for a low-fat, low-protein, high car...

You all should read "The China Study" by Colin Cam

I highly recommend that the Wai followers read "The China Study" by Colin Campbell. I was just reading the "Excluded: (raw) milk / dairy" posts, and I couldn't believe how adamantly people were saying that animal foods were good for you. They are definitely NOT good for you. I do eat raw fish and ra...

Hi guys, I bought unshelled. Ugh, I just can't stomache them. Dionysus, I want a food high in selenium because I hear they help with thyroid issues. I don't have any yet, but my doctor said I would (whatever that means). I'm hoping with this new way of eating, I won't have to worry about any thyroid...

Brazil Nuts = OMG

Oh my Gosh!! I just ordered a ton of Brazil nuts, and I think they are probably one of the worst tasting things I've put in my mouth. Yuck! However, I know they are very rich in Selenium. I googled Selenium to see which other foods are rich in this mineral. It is a mineral, right? Anyway, button mus...

Keeping my mouth SHUT!

Hi, I'm new to this wonderful new way of life. I'm about three weeks in now. I'm still not 100%. I find it very, very hard to follow this diet when I go out, and being that I live in a fun, young neighborhood in the city...AND that it's summer, I go out pretty often. I don't have acne, but I just re...

Thanks for the tip, Oscar. If this doesn't work, then I'll just be the phantom member, not that I've even posted yet.

Here's my pic.

I'm new to this diet. So far, it's been a rough start. I've always eaten, what I thought was, healthy. Giving my my veggies, sushi and cooked fish has been the hardest for me. I'm sure I'll be 100% soon because I understand that "self-discipline is the chief element of self-respect." Here's my pic. ...
