Re: Problems with coconut oil!?

People who use coconut oil mostly talk about homeopathic doses only. I'm not quite sure what you mean, but as this is forum involving a diet that is mostly raw, you will find all forms of cold-pressed oils used by forum members. How much are 5-6 tablespoons? I guess round about 40-50 grams, right? ...

Re: Problems with coconut oil!?

No, I have never had that happen. Does this happen when you eat coconut? But, it's not like you have to use coconut oil. If it doesn't sit well with you, don't use it! How much coconut oil do you eat per day round about? Terence I probably consume 5-6 tablespoons per day. I use it with orange juice...

Re: Gallstones?

Hello, I a new here. I have been reading the messages and adding parts of the diet over that past couple of days. I haven't had any cooked food for several days, now. Yesterday and today I have been drinking pineapple juice with olive oil and have been having some severe pain in my abdomen and in t...

I personally prefer nuts in a paste form. It's easier to mix with other things, and seems to be easier to digest.

Re: Problems with coconut oil!?

I tried coconut oil several times and always got bloating, gas and stinky liquid stools. Has anybody here made the same experiences? I wonder if my body needs time to adjust to coconut oil? But the longer I eat it the worse everything gets. Olive oil seems to soothe this condition... Terence No, I ...

I like Wasabi and I don't like hot peppers for the reason Wasabi is like a quick burst in the sinuses, where peppers can break a sweat and a burning sensation that lasts and lasts. To me they are very different. I'm not much into spicy food. Also I don't like Wasabi on Yellow Tail or Salmon, but lo...

Just to make my post for the month :) I recently got checked for parasites in January at the request of my girlfriend. Long Story. But needless to say, after consuming several hundred pound...

In general, its been my experience that any feelings of bloating can be eliminated by peeling fruits. Its very tempting, especially in the summer, to eat lots of fruits like peaches, plums, etc to the extreme. The skin of these fruits doesn't digest well in my experience, so try to peel them first.

Coconut Oil/butter

huntress: I take some coconut oil everytime I drink some juice. I usually use coconut butter with my morning juice. At the food co-op I belong to, cold pressed coconut butter is rather inexpensive and does taste great with orange (or more exotic) juices. Papayas are very cheap where I am, and those...

Benzapp I don't want to pick a fight with you either, but I must say it is your tone that is getting everyones back up. You could have just asked Oscar nicely not to post pictures like that in case you get fired. You didn't need to have a go at him. Oscars posts including the one with the pic were ...

Obviously, everyone's sense of what is distasteful or offensive differs, because each of us has been simmering in a unique cultural/social 'stew' since birth. MY personal opinion is irrelevant as well. The purpose of this site is to further access to the diet put forth by Wai. This is not your pers...

The picture in my post was from a movie called "Monty Python and the Meaning of Life". Hardly a porn picture. Much less an indication of a porn site. If you think my post was not tasteful and respectful, than that is of course your opinion. So far you've been the first to mention this though. I can...

Vegetables, by definition, contain no sugar.

How can we possibly survive on such a food?
