I understand that we need cholesterol or that it may be essential, but do we need a chickens cholesterol to be healthy? I do enjoy yolks and fish, but I was just wondering. Also, does plant sterols lik...

It only takes a small amount of skull expansion to cause hair loss. True that the skin is elastic but that does not mean the delicate follicles on the tippy top of someones skull is receiving adequate blood. We do not have large arteries at the top, only arterioles, which are tiny. The arteries are ...

Weight training increases growth hormone, hence IGF-1, which grows tissues and bone, which may cause the individual to bald. I know the cause of baldness, and DHT is not all bad. We need DHT to maintain an erection and for many functions. Our bodies produce it for a reason. However, high insulin levels, as well as IGF-1, which is highly anabolic, grows bone, especially of the skull. When the skull grows that means less ha...

Can you please describe some of the effects of lignans? I recently purchased a product that contain norway spruce lignans. They recently added this new ingredient to a product I like to use on certain occasions. I wasnt happy when they added the lignans though.

Sure. If someone was to eat sufficient calories of mainly fruit, for instance, if a man 6'1 170 lbs, eats a lot of fruit to hit around 3000 calories, and only 3-5 yolks, no avocado, no oil, would there be sufficient fat in this diet for good health. Or maybe you can answer this question, is 10-15% o...

Right. But I think the point is that carnivores eat a high fat low carb diet, obviously, but an herbivore also eats a high fat low carb diet, not so obviously. And the human "should" also eat a high fat low carb diet, especially since we cant break down cellulose, and we dont have the caecum to ferm...
