different views of God

Very well said Oscar. Concise and to the point. I do agree with you though, that we have free will, even though the outcome is already known. This dichotomy arises because in my opinion everything happens in one moment (for the outside observer), and all possible outcomes are already mapped out. The...

Anjou pears! those are from where I grew up in France! Can't find them here in Holland, so I haven't tasted them again since being on the diet, but I remember them being tasty!
Here we get mostly Conference and Comice pears. I like both. I alternate!

I havn't had acne and havn't developed it from this diet but I'm sure RRM and some of the others will be able to help you more than I can. I just want to say that I hope you get though this and that although I'm not sure, it could still very well be a transition. The natural vision teacher I studied...

What I meant was not that people on this board have argued that there is a role reversal between lions and zebras (of course not), but rather that it has been argued that this issue (of predator and prey) is NOT tantamount to evidence for a 'natural hierarchy' between animals and humans. Why can th...

In the beginning I lost almost 5 kg really quickly. Then things stabilized and I haven't lost anymore since. It was pretty fast though... Well I guess compared to other diets 5 kg over 2 months is not too fast. How fast did you lose weight? Could it be possible that you've reached your set-point wei...

Pasteurized=processed=heated/oxidized=bad. Couldn't you buy a simple electric juicer and juice in your dorm room? Seems just as easy as making coffee or tea in your room. If there's a plug you can juice! :D The Olive Oil will mix with fresh squeezed much better. Have you tried the OO in the health f...

Yes.
Egg yolks are protein and prteins don't mix well with fibers. Caused bacterial decomposition.
I don't have this problem with egg yolks but with fish. SO I don't eat anything one hour before and one and 1/2 hours after eating fish.
hope this helps.

I agree with you James! I think it's crazy that fruit is so expensive in the US. Considering that most kinds of fruit can be grown there! Probably, "normal" people don't eat that much and therefore it is expensive! Maybe you spend more (I havn't noticed that I do;Holland must be different) but you d...

Why are grains so addicting? Because they have to be eaten cooked and therfore contain beta-carbolines. Why do they make you gain weight so easily? Not exactly sure but I think it's because they can't really be digested or used as energy by the body. When I give them up, I go through withdrawal. Th...

I always buy/bought organic dried fruit as it really looks and tastes different. Take apricots for example. I'm sure the non-organic dried fruit is heat dried at temperatures too high to qualify as raw anyway. But now I start to question health-food store dried fruit...Is it really naturally/sun-dri...

I used to do a detox fast: The lemon juice/mapple syrup 10 day "master cleanse". Usually once a year in the spring and my tongue also got coated white. I don't need to do this anymore and wouldn't advise it because it is too extreme for the body. However I can confirm that the white coat on the tong...
