You're welcome! I advise you however to sign-up for a 10 day course some time in advance, if you have specific dates and location as courses fill up quickly... you can always cancel a week before and therefore if a course is already full they put you on a waiting list and call you a week before the ...

Jjah,
This is not exactly recipe related but how is your pregnancy going? Do you crave only 100% wai or do you crave other things? You must feel great, I can imagine... I wish you all the best and would love to know how you're feeling!
A "wai" baby! Wow!

Another alternative to pasta if you really need something like it is Zucchini spagetti pesto... I used to eat it when I just started out on wai and raw food. "spaghetti": Wash and grate finely one large zucchini (serves two). Put in a bowl, set aside. Pesto sauce: In a coffee grinder, grind until sm...

A polish friend of mine told me that when she was little her grandfather used to make her the same thing when she visited him at his farm. He used eggs straight from his own chikens... She also said it's delicious. I need to try it out!

Welcome Harlotsdance, Don't panic! Just start out doing 2 weeks on the sample diet and see how it feels. Then decide about the rest of your life. Anybody can give up a few things for two weeks... Personally I went into it gradually, but that is because I felt that for me it would be a life thing, th...

It probably makes eating munch foods even more satisfying when following the wai-diet, because your senses are so much stronger and deeper. Well my experience is somewhat different: The smell of cooked food is attractive as well as the idea of a food I liked and this makes me want to taste it. When...

Vipassana

Hi Jmbattle, Exactly, now would be the time to do Vipassana, since you're at a transition... There are centers all over the world, and once you've completed a 10-day course you may serve (or sit again) for as long a period as you want whereever you want... As a server you still meditate intensely (a...

increased sensitivity

Hi all, This post is a bit of an answer, and bit of a question (for myself): I've noticed that if I "munch" (last time was at christmas: I was with my family), I feel so much worse than when I used to eat that same munch-whatever-it-was while still on the cooked diet. This is normal because our body...

Vipassana

Hi Jmbattle! Sorry this reply is a bit late, but I've been away from the forum for a couple of weeks. Last July I did my second 10-day vipassana course. (the first one was a year before that). This form of meditation and the way the whole thing works is wonderful and amazing. The meditation is so si...

small meals

Of course at the beginning I had to remind myself to eat enough small meals but now I've gotten the hang of it and into a rhythm. I can feel when my body needs something and usually now what exactly it needs. The key though is to always have fruit and olive oil or OJ with OO and Sugar with you at al...

improved eye sight

Hi everyone! after some time of not posting I am catching up! I also took a Bates class last fall taught by Tom Quakenbush (the author Oscar mentioned. I also recommend his book BTW). I notice my eyes improving slowly but I started the Bates method about a month after the diet so I don't know which ...
