Sodium causing acne; difference added/natural?

Is there is a difference between consuming foods that naturally contain sodium in them versus consuming salt that has been added?

For example, raw fish eggs (roe) is naturally quite salty. Is there a difference between eating the raw fish egg versus adding salt to foods when it comes to pimples?

By the way, I started to make beef jerky with my dehydrator. I just take some raw beef, sprinkle a little salt and pepper on it, and dehydrate at 105 degrees F. My kids eat that beef like little monsters.

IUD

I know that Wai said that hormonal birth control can not only make it diffficult to lose weight, but she also mentioned that it can contribute to cancer. With IUD's there are 2 kinds. One kind releases a hormone and the other has no hormones, but is surrounded by copper. Is there any potentional neg...

If you go to some farmer's market, you may be able to find beef that has not been irradiated.

By the way, both of my kids got a high fever recently and dealt with it using rest and nutrition. I'm going to make another post in regards to this. But anyway, once again I did not get ill at all. My nanny who is also on the Wai Diet, also did not get ill.

The Alexander Technique is a different form of posture therapy. As far as the mental connection to physical pain, I have seen many instances in which changing mental perceptions, attitudes, and habits have resulted in positive results in the perception of physical pain. This is not just for people w...

I totally agree with what RRM said. Personally, I would just start eating animal food right away. I don't really care if it gave me some diarrhea because my body couldn't handle the bacterial level at that time. I know my body would simply adapt and it would adapt quickly. The funny thing is that wh...

Angie, I think you may be taking my comments about anxiety a little too literally. I'm not saying that you have issues like the example I mentioned, but rather I was just giving you an example of a mental issue that had a direct correlation to the perception of pain. My point is exactly what you sai...

As far as posture, it is important to know that the alignment of your body is involuntary. This means that there is no way you can create a permanent change the alignment of your posture simply from consciously focusing on certain things. There are a couple reasons why consciously thinking about cha...

As far as walking on concrete, it is not the surface that is the problem, it is the body that walks on it. You would be amazed at what a highly functional body is capable of doing and the best example of that is with young children. I used to have knee and back pains when I ran, however, once I impr...

I am very familar with Pete Egoscue's work. He has the correct general idea , but he doesn't have science behind his system (I know this because I took his therapist training course and it was so horrid that I walked out and asked for my money back). To the untrained eye, what Egoscue does may seem ...

Lip balm...

I found this all natural lip balm that not only has very few ingredients, but also the ingredients listed all have lower Vitamin E than Olive Oil according to Wai's list of oils.
