I drink alcohol with no adverse effects!

I just wanted to share something with you guys. I have been on this diet for 2 years now, and my acne is under controll. I still get small pimples sometimes, and some blackheads, but it is so minor that I am just about the only person on earth noticing it :) For example, a colleague asked me "do you...

I have been thinking more about this the whole day at work. I really cant see how any form of exercise can make you loose muscle mass, unless you exercise very, very hard/long and do not eat enough energy and/or protein to rebuild the muscle tissue afterwords. I mean, all kind of physical activity "...

Re: Dancing as exercise?

Will this be a form of exercise that I can safely do without it interfering with my pretty even testosterone level, and thereby cause acne? Absolutely, as it will have a catabolic influence, instead of anabolic. You may even need more muscle building exercises to compensate for that. (to prevent th...

Dancing as exercise?

I currently work out once or twice a day, 10x10, isolatibg exercises. This helps me maintain, and slowly build some muscle mass in the places I want it. Still, I miss being able to do some kind of exercise for the whole body at once (other than walking), not to build muscle mass or enhance stamina, ...

I bet you will experience incresed muscle growth if you start to do your workout routine every second day, instead of every day. Your muscles need time to reconstruct in between the workouts, which is why it is never recommended to work the same muscle (group) two days in a row. A part from that I w...

Protein for (re)construction purposes usually doesnt get utilized until you are sleeping Is this true? I knew a lot of it (reconstruction) happened during sleep, but cells are reproduced all day, are they not? It is mostly during the noght, but not only during the night, right? Then that protein wi...

But with 'clean' protein it should be better to ingest a little at the time, right? Because this could get used and distributed by the body right away.

Weight training increases growth hormone, hence IGF-1, which grows tissues and bone, which may cause the individual to bald. This explanation for why high levels of anabolic hormones (endogenous or not) can cause baldness, is not a valid scientific fact. I asked my professor (I am currently taking ...

Sorry, I meant NO acne, not NOW acne! :P

Haha, that "came out wrong"!

I now train one muscle(group) in the morning and one in the afternoon/evening, and it seems to add more muscle, but NO acne, was what I meant to say :)

I am sorry about your cat, RRM! My old kung-fu trainer, an lebanese ex-military man, who learned kung-fu in the army, also recommended raw (whole) eggs with sugar, if one where sick. On the other hand, he also recommended running barefoot outside in the winter, ice and snow everywhere. Recommended i...
