feeling discouraged...
Just to share my acne experience... I only started getting acne when I went to away to university and it has been a constant struggle for me ever since with my self- esteem, self-consciousness, trying out different birth controls and so many cosmetic products I can't even count. It caused a downward...

Fictor and CY- thanks for all the help. I eat egg yolks occasionally, usually about 2 per week (I don't really like them and I want to watch my blood protein level). I rarely eat raw fish, only when I go for sushi once in a blue moon. I tried using castor oil on my face at night 2 nights in a row, b...

honey & refined white sugar included?
If natural honey and refined white sugar are fine, why aren't they included in the sample diet?

For breakfast I usually eat oranges, melon, and banana. Then about every hour or so I eat either a peach, plum, apple, or more oranges. I eat lots of strawberries and cherries as snacks. For either lunch or dinner each day I have a tomato-cucumber salad with olive oil and an avocado. Sometimes I hav...

bananas and acne?
I read that people who are prone to skin problems shouldn't eat bananas. I know that Wai says that blended bananas are no good, but bananas are fine. Is this always the case or should acne-prone people eat them only in moderation?

Painkillers... should I take them?
I just had mouth surgery and I'm wondering about the use of painkillers... I don't usually take ANY type of pharmaceuticals but I would rather not have to suffer if I don't have to. Will it cause acne? If it will then I will endure, but if not then I need some relief!!!!

I love Wai!!
Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that I am on day #9 of Wai (I started before that but had munch foods while on holiday- couldn't resist croissants in France and had to start all over again!) but anyways, I feel much better on this diet than eating any other way! My skin is also much much better an...

hmm ok thanks CY! The sashimi pieces were the same size as the ones on top of rice in sushi, so I think it would be considered "appetizer" size. On the sample diet, it says that as a woman you can eat up to 50 grams of raw fish... how does everyone else figure out how much everything weighs?! I dont...

sore throat & gargling
Hi, I might be being super paranoid, but I have a sore throat and a friend recommended me to gargle apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and cayenne pepper... Gargling it won't affect acne, will it?? Also how should I eat on Wai when I have a sore throat/ cold? I really feel like having hot soup ...
