Sleep & omega 3, oleamide, saturated fats

My wife teaches nutrition and sleep to pregnant women and maternity professionals and I encouraged her to use some of your material/research in her courses. One other question I have is on the relationship of fat ratios to sleep/serotonin. How would saturated fat from say raw cream or raw butter eff...

Re: Protein Quality

Hey there guys. I know you updated the protein quality info....and mentioned on the website that the fruit protein article was outdated. What effect (if any) might this have on the SPF(serotonin production factor) data? Do you see any flaws in that data now in light of the updated protein quality da...

Seeds in the foods we eat

RRM and friends, Is it possible that the seeds contained within tomatoes and cucumbers and kiwi can cause problems if eaten in large quantities? A few posts from members here have suggested it could, based on their experiences. Also, if I am juicing cucumbers in large quantities, i am also juicing t...

RRM and freinds, If one suspects a food allergy, what would you suggest, an elimination type diet? What is the best way to track it down. How bout allergy testing through a lab like Great Smokies, allergy testing seems like it could produce some false results, I dont trust it 100%. Your thoughts? Al...

food allergies cause acne?

RRM and freinds, Is it possible that someone could possibly get MORE acne on this diet if they are allergic to certain foods, like lets say citrus or eggs. Lets say someone has a citrus allergy or nut allergy and they rarely eat these foods, but then they go on the acne diet and start drinking tons ...

For about 10 years I have had a love/hate relationship with food mostly because I didn't really liked how it made me feel, I always felt bloated from it. It just didn't seem right to always walk around feeling bloated after eating. I naturally desired a flat tummy area, and I liked the empty light f...

RRM, Lets say it is a gallstone, are there any alternatives to seeing a doctor(I am not a big fan), or any ways that the body will reconvert/dissolve the stone. Is surgery and similar procedures like exploding the stone, the only options in the case of a large stone? I have heard that fasting can ac...

the gallbladder / gall stones?

RRM and freinds, For a couple of years now I have had a feeling of slight pressure in my liver/gallbladder area under my right rib cage. My liver doesn't feel tender or swollen or anything. This pressure tends to fluctuate alot, based on the amout of fat I eat, time of day, and stress. Any stress in...

On a high fiber diet, it seems that there was alot more energy and bloodflow directed to my abdominal region. My mind was always pulled to that region, because my body was always paying so much attention to it. It really never felt natural. I feel so much lighter, and freer now.

is it ever OK to eat sugar alone?

RRM and freinds, On some of the old boards, Wai mentions that if your glycogen stores are empty, there should be no problem regarding spiking your blood sugar. She says that when stores are empty, you can safely eat a large amount of carbs in one sitting. Sometimes I feel like just sipping juice, wi...

When I am cold, its usually related to my adrenals, which of course are rejuvenated during sleep...if I dont sleep enough, my adrenals feel exhausted. If I consume too few calories, for a few days in a row, I will start to feel cold too. Good quality sleep is everything, ya gotta get lots of sunshin...

RRM and friends, I have noticed alot of people do large quantities of fresh orange juice, I have been doing apple mostly, though i do oranges fairly often too.
