Your problem is that you are listening to your stomach. You should not. You should learn to listen to your energy levels instead. Only eat something when you feel that you need the energy. I hadn't thought of there being a difference between the two: hunger and energy needs. When I am feeling less ...

I don’t think a [true] Wai mother would want to be a surrogate mother, because she would insist on extended breastfeeding. You are right about breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is absolutely imperative. No infant is born expecting to be nourished from crap in a can mixed with tap water out of a fake sili...

I have been on the 100% strict diet for the last few days, and using the nutrient calculator, I have found that I am actually consuming more calories on average than I was with the 90% strict diet. I am concerned because I really do not want any weight gain now as I have been slowly losing weight af...

I didn't even consider that bacteria could be transferred through milk. I'd be really interested to know how a person who had never been contaminated with unhealthy food would be like. Yes, everything is transferred through breastmilk; we nursing mothers have to be very careful and very conscious o...

It's actually chicken breast that we have frozen here, not turkey. But, I am defrosting it, and will eat some later, probably with some yolk. I am a little apprehensive, I will admit. But, if doing something scares you, it usually means you have to do it.

It is my understanding that chlorella, when used regularly in the absence of fish and fish products, will begin to break down and get rid of the toxins in your body--after 3 to 4 months' consistent use. But, then you must continue using the chlorella, and abstain from all fish and fish products if y...

Re: My Experiences Two Months In

Keep on breastfeeding your baby, as that really helps. (most of the energy in the milk is your fat) I am not planning to stop breastfeeding until she self-weans. I plan on nursing into her third year. This is for her benefit, not my vanity, of course. I know that nursing makes the pregnancy weight ...

Today, my daughter had a second whole egg yolk. As usual, she had her ½ c. raw blended fruit this morning, and then 1 yolk about a half an hour later. This evening, she did not want the second ½ c. of raw blended fruit, so I decided to offer her some yolk, which she did want to eat, and so I let her...

My Experiences Two Months In

Positive differences : After having been on this diet for nearly two months, with daily munch food, and with daily walking 60 to 90 minutes, weather permitting, I have noticed some positive changes. I have more energy than I did even as a raw vegetarian. I have a markedly decreased need for sleep—w...

I am wondering about taste... you don't dehydrate, right? Raw seafood I don't imagine as being too bad, since I enjoy sashimi, but how are the raw turkey and the raw chicken? I am hoping dehydrating will be good for me to reintroduce some meat into my diet, and then later transition into just eating...

So, do the regular supermarket variety of raw poultry and seafood count as truly raw, and are those all acceptable for straight consumption, or just for dehydrating at low temperatures?

About Eating Raw Meat; un-Wai?

On the main page of this site, it states that raw meat (beef, chicken, etc.) is not advised on this diet, because raw meat has been irradiated, and is therefore not really raw. But, I see others’ posts about their eating (low temperature) dehydrated beef and such, and so I am wondering if there is u...

I read the old thread. I think I have convinced myself, though. Last night, I had a social munch food meal, and today my skin has mildly broken out. I could not believe it. I have not had skin problems since adolescence. I attribute it to the food, of course. Now, thoroughly disgusted with what munc...
