Re: Fire - Human Evolution
there was a study lately debunking this and saying the crucial part was humans to be able to cut food in smaller pieces and not cooking per se

Of which 2 grams of Omega-6 and 2 grams of Omega-3 are you talking about? Are you talking about the undifferentiated-Omega-6? and undifferentiated-Omega-3? http://www.xbrain.co.uk/pub_images/original/omega-3-6-9_1684.png I think the body is mostly interested in EPA, DPA, AA and DGLA. But I believe ...

Re: red eyes
@Novidez when I had issues it was much worse than how it looks with you. Like they were so painful that I couldn't get my lenses in. Why do you think your eggs and orange juice are devoid of nutrients?
If you want to be really sure, you could do a blood test.

Re: Novidez's Journey - From non-Wai to Wai
Hey, great that your sleep is going better! One thing to keep in mind maybe, and I see you and aytundra doing this a lot, searching for a direct cause of some symptoms by food. Like, I eat a bit too much of X, so that may cause symptom Y. But I think many times, it has nothing to do with the direct ...

Re: "Ketogenic" metabolism
I wonder how it is possible to get all your nutrients in low carb, low protein, Wai Diet.
Could you show a nutrient table of an example ketogenic wai diet panacea?

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc
"Basically Peat food has all 3 fats, even the PUFA that he hates."
Every fatty food has PUFA... What is the point of remarks like this?
Btw, I don't think there exists something like peat food... Where do you get that?

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc
Please skip those food tables, they are absolutely useless... One overview of the percentage of SFA, MUFA, PUFA in different oils/fats will do... If something is low in fat like fruit, of course it will have very little PUFA... And little MUFA and little SFA .... If it is fried in sunflower oil, pro...

CML-AGE is surely something very different. What do you mean with dangerous?I am trying to untangle the facts and theories in my mind.
Is PUFA dangerous, or is it not?
Is PUFA like CML-AGE?

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc
I think it is different. There is some theoretical reason for PUFA to be essential. The prostaglandins are used in many biological processes. There is no reason to assume AGE are essential or needed. People that die from a fever, don't die from the virus, but from the inflammation response for examp...

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc
Ray Peat's theory thinks that it is healthy (life-protecting-behaviour) to eat zero PUFA. Why do you believe that Kasper? (And why do so many other people {at least on the Peat Forum} believe that?) I think there is not done enough studies about 0 gram PUFA in humans. If there are benefits of PUFA,...

Re: Ray Peat..Haidut..Ede...etc
Why 4 g, what is the rationale? I'm not totally sure why, I believe there was some cancer study done or something that showed effects of less than 4 gram of PUFA. I think in Ray Peat's universe that this is also the mechanism how aspirin is protective to some cancers, as aspirin kind of prevents PU...
