I don't get why anyone would want to look built anyways; I find healthier-looking people to be more attractive in general. In some cases, people are insecure. If you have always though that you where too thin, you may over compensate and try to get big. Many athletes work out to become stronger for...

By claiming you were skeptical before following this diet then implying the reason I'm skeptical is because I haven't followed this diet, which implies I am attacking the diet or claiming that it doesn't do what it states it will do. . this is where we had bad communication...I wasn't implying you ...

b-rad, have you tried following this diet? I was very sceptical at first. Why do you think I haven't followed this diet? I believe I even stated I did in an earlier post. And why do you think I'm skeptical of this diet? Do you think I am trying to attack it? It's always funny how when you say one l...

I think they have not done long term studies on humans. Most of the research comes from animal studies with controlled diets. This is why some people don't accept this theory. I agree that it is not as simple as cut your calories and live longer. If you start this way of eating (CR) to quickly you c...

People are fools; it's not the researcher's job to have to compensate for their lack of common sense. And researchers are ... ? people, too and like b-rad says "People are fools" I do realize that scientists take measures to be rational, but there abilities are not perfect b-rad, have you tried fol...

How do you define natural habitat? We are part of nature and are in our natural habitat everywhere we are. We are still adapting and spreading around like other animals. I mean are Eskimos in the native habitat if they live in the Arctic? These people have physical adaptations to deal with that envi...

Re: how much sugar at once/ getting enough energy
A huge issue with me is that I'm thin (120lbs/54kg and 6'2/188cm), and I always wonder, is it more unhealthy to not get enough energy I think it depends on the degree. If you lack enough calories you will die, but eating a low cal diet in general has been shown to increase life span. see: http://en...

Re: Why Wai dieters have to eat 20 meals a day
I don't. I do things a bit different. I eat 4-5 bigger meals a day.. 4-5 big meals consisting of what? I'll have a smoothie that I consume over say 45 minutes, I may sip it but consider it one meal. Then I may have a avocado, cucumber, tomato salad with 4 -6 yolks or salmon. I just don't sip a smal...

Re: Why Wai dieters have to eat 20 meals a day
I'm not constantly hungry. If you weren't constantly hungry, you wouldn't have to eat 20 times a day, would you? I don't. I do things a bit different. I eat 4-5 bigger meals a day. I haven't measured this but I don't seem to be losing muscle disproportionately to fat. I appear much leaner than I di...

Re: Why Wai dieters have to eat 20 meals a day
Good information... I was becoming confused after reading studies done with high fructose corn syrup and thinking fruit was doing the same thing to me (contrary to my observations).RRM wrote: Where the fructose does not inhibit hunger, glucose does.
