plants

Yes, I think so... Some plants I would say are not medicinal even, but simply 'druglike' (excitatory or sedative) though they have been used as medicaments in this way, too...(viz. chocolate (tetrahydro-beta-carbolines and other substances that are addictive/druglike and probably without medical mer...

Artificial dyes

I like to eat sugar candy (pastilles, etc.) very much myself but the artificial coloring in some seems to have various effects. Some say (anecdotally, not completely scientifically) that some dyes like the American FDA-approved Red #40 may cause insomnia in some. Special diets like the Feingold diet...

glycerin

My face cannot take the oil or rosewater, and I use a glycerin/water mix:

It works very well. Pure glycerin alone was too sticky for me to use, when I tried it.

low-sugar fruits

ah, and I see you you answered this (too) here-- http://www.waiworld.com/waitalk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=16676&highlight=&sid=0428c5b794aa4c4be0c7f33825706521#16676 and that sweeter fruits indeed are 'easier' (less full of toxins/enzyme inhibitors)... You may delete any of my posts like this, where i...

Herbs & plant hormones

I avoid herbs-- it is amazing how many have high levels of plant-type hormones. This site lists many (in the context of women's hormonal disease):

acids and teeth

It is the acids in fruits (and other food or drink) that harm teeth, not sugar. You can eat a lot of sugar indeed and not have any effects on the teeth from this if it is not accompanied by acid. You must rinse your teeth (take in non-acidic water, rinse within the mouth, and spit it out) or devise ...

thermogenic effect

If you take coconut oil and are a cold water swimmer/diver, you may stay in the water longer (with a thinner wetsuit) in colder months. Some swimmers also take supplements that increase this effect (carnitine, calcium pyruvate, and garcinia, combined with coconut oil or medium chain triglycerides pu...

dried olives

http://www.acneboard.com/AcneQandA/Forum10/000058.html I have ordered these; they are superb. I wonder also (I am sure it is covered somewhere on this board)-- if oleuropin is in olive oil too... The 'de-pitted' olive oil (denocciolato) would not avoid this problem, if it were; I am not sure of the ...

Fruit

Are low-sugar fruits higher in toxins than sweeter fruits (but lower in them than non-fruit vegetables)? If you equate sweetness with desirability to eat of course that is simplistic-- egg yolks and other protein foods are not sweet or sugar-filled, yet highly desirable--- but I wish to know how sug...

equilibrium

Is it easier to take up far too much calcium from supplements than from milk (dairy products) for this reason of concentration? I still do not quite grasp how the body may distinguish what it needs-- but be unable to shun 'too much' of something-- as you have described it. Is part of the problem wit...
