Re: Liquid Diet
I also posted this question in the "Acne" section in a a string about fiber; but I thought I would post it here too, -- ... Literally, fibers are anti-nutrients, so that they indeed somewhat decrease the absorption of minerals, cholesterol and other nutrients. Fiber cannot be enzymatically digested ...

Re: Fruits' fiber
Literally, fibers are anti-nutrients, so that they indeed somewhat decrease the absorption of minerals, cholesterol and other nutrients. Fiber cannot be enzymatically digested (just a little bacterially, which causes some gasses), and the intestines try to get rid of them as soon as possible becaus...

You'll be fine. Bowel movements are induced by the body when it's needed (unless sedated by opioid pepetides and/or beta-carbolines). You will probably have less movements because there's less fiber to get rid of. Thanks for your response, Oscar. In the past I have done juice fasts (no fats) and th...

Liquid Diet
I find that my preference is to mostly consume fruit juices (with oil added ... I use raw hempseed oil for the omega 3's since I don't eat raw fish) and raw egg yolks. I also sometimes mix dissolved bee pollen into my juices. I feel happiest when I am in the "just-liquids" mode. I get plenty of calo...

For years I have not been able to tolerate BANANAS. However, as an exeriment, I tried the following recipe: Mash 2 bananas Stir in 3 raw egg yolks Stir in a handful of walnut pieces Stir in a handful of sundried wild mulberries I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor and texture of this mixture with NO adve...

Thanks for the response JFK. I did a 58-day juice fast at the beginning of the year. I went down to 115 and still had cellulite, which was very discouraging. I wasn't consuming any salt either. Just juices. So perhaps with this diet, since I can do it longer than 58 days, there will be time for the ...

Encouragement Requested re Cellulite
I am a 48-year old woman. I have given birth to 3 children. I don't do much exercise other than a few stretches and walking required by my commute and general daily activities. I used to be a lot more active in my younger years, but time available to me for exercise is really limited. I had many yea...

The amount of vitamin D is not enough, since you dont get much sun exposure. Therefore, I would advice you to eat 5 or 6 egg yolks a day. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I can deal with 6 egg yolks a day, 3 in the morning, 3 in the evening, mixed in grapefruit juice. I don't even taste th...

Vitamin B12 and D in Egg Yolks
I posted this same item under "Beginner's Issues" ... but then realized pershaps this subtopic may be a better place for it -- I'd like to know if 3 egg yolks a day will supply adequate vitamin B12 and vitamin D for a woman (5'9", 120-125 lbs.). I plan to be using egg yolks only (no raw fish). When ...
