Re: OJ... expensive oranges
Hmmm for oranges you NEED a citrus press... not a centrifugal.. or if you do buy one make sure it has the citrus press function.. Or you do as RRM suggests and get just a cheap normal one that is manual.. But a good electrical citrus press is a good buy.. and need not be expensive at all... check di...

Re: Sea salt
Personally, the times I have had sea salt with tomatoes because of irresistible salt cravings I noticed a higher degree of water retention in my face, especially forhead, however it passed quicker than that one time I had bulgogi (korean bbq beef) and got painful pimples that took ca two weeks to go...

Re: Protein Quality
I wonder: If you want to benefit from food combining to get high quality protein (like for instance egg yolk and banana) do you have to eat them at the same time, or is it enough that you have been eating your bananas in they day and then you can take the yolk and the different proteins will find ea...

Re: Resting Heart Rate
I am partaking in a big long time study in Sweden called LifeGene. I went for the first time two days ago. My resting heart rate was then 68, but this was after I just performed a spirometrical test 3 times to test my lung function. My spirometrical test was above expectations, I had 122% of expecte...

Re: 26 days off accutane, the pimples are comming back :(
Can I just say something? There is also this related thing to acne called Rosacea. It can sometimes feature red and dry and itchy eyes, perhaps even blurred vision? Rosacea can appear differently in different persons but can also give rise to pimples.. Perhaps find some eye drops.. to ease the sympt...

Beeswax
Hi, I just found a vat of 100% beeswax. I am trying it on my hands and feet and sometimes lips. It feels good. I just wonder if there is any non-Wai thing about it? I can also recommend it for hairstyles.. Of course you can't get a firm hold, but a small amount will make it more manageable.. And I l...

Re: ok to eat century egg?
I have eaten such eggs in China. It is a bit weird but tastes ok. I guess when you have to perserve stuff if you're living outside of western standard living facilities.. it is a good way to perserve food. (But how did they come to think of it: we take the eggs, bake them in mud and salt and stuff.....

This diet is so hard...
This might not be the right thread indeed, but I know how you feel. :) However, one little thing that I've learnt is to see people's reactions as their problem a bit more. Your diet raises questions about what they themselves eat. Do they eat healthy etc. Then I think it is something psychological, ...

Doesn't the egg yolks help, or did you not like egg yolks?
Yolks help me a lot if I take them before bed. I sleep very good..

Re: Sun Burn
Use coconut oil. It's ok if it soaks up in your clothes a bit. Just apply new oil when you take off the clothes at the beach to swim or whatever. Or keep clothes on when swimming for better protection. Don't stay out in the sun too long. If you start to get red, get out of the sun, stay in the shade...

Different bananas in the calculator
Hello crew!
I have been wondering a long time what's the difference between the two kinds of bananas in the calculator: musa sapientum and musa paradisiaca?
Maybe it's not so important but I always wonder. When I get my answer you can stick this thread where ever you see fit..
Thanks
