Ah, I wish I lived in Holland. Someone was telling me recently about a town named Christiana near Holland; do you know about it RRM? (Sorry to go off-topic.)

Thanks RRM I put the Petroleum on because I read (on the wai site somewhere) that putting on oil will stop the skin from producing it's own and thus stop acne. Because acne requires oil production + blocked pores. Eating well can stop the blocked pores so that it doesn't matter how much oil you prod...

I just find it hard with my schedule to have to wait an hour after eating. Also I find raw fish to be very gross; every time I eat it there's a lot of gagging etc. Also I'd really like to up my fat content and Liquid Omega 3 seems an easy way to do it. I generally have felt stronger whenever I take ...

So kindof off-topic, what foods contain a highest ratio of methionine, cysteine, phenylalanine, and tyrosine.

And would eating these foods theoretically counteract the negatives of eating low-quality protein?

If you're having a hard time eating all the time it's also a good idea to eat your sugars after fats (don't know if you were already doing that.) RRM, do you buy the Tilapia fresh and than freeze it? What are the 'downsides' to freezing? Do you think it would be ok to eat frozen supermarket fish? I'...

Liquid form Omega 3

I've been taking Omega3 supplements since my doctor prescribed it to help build up my strength and manage my weight. Also I figure it'll help balance my high oo intake (even though I eat the flax-seed eggs). I also find it useful to inhibit cravings and for long days out where I might not get enough...

Washing face - necessary?

I haven't used anything except water on my face for almost a year now. I shower about 2 or 3 times a week and this is the only time I even put water on my face. I also put 100% petroleum jelly on my face and other parts that have acne at night. Or sometimes I'll use an Avocado/grape-seed/olive oil i...

I was wondering what the actual ratio of amino acids is for hemp seeds. in http://www.13.waisays.com/ if you scroll down it lists hemp seeds as having a high Serotonin production factor because of the high tryptophan to phenylalanine and leucine ratio, which wai considers a good thing. Also tryptoph...

How is dehydration by diuretics different from dehydration by not consuming water-retaining substances? I mean I understand the long term and health effects you wrote about earlier, and I agree. But if I've previously retained too much and I want to look good for a date the next day, how does the ca...

Wow, I'm glad about the eggs, thanks RRM. I've been getting more Brazil nuts recently too, since I've realized it's cheaper than eating out and they're easy to take with you. I've also been eating frozen fish and not getting sick. Do you think it's OK to thaw the fish with boiling water from the ket...

I read into the calorie restriction concept and they've only done human studies on overweight/average-weight people.

Also those studies were restricting 'regular American diet' calories, which I imagine would increase health for a number of reasons other than eating less calories.

Thanks Giving

Canadian thanksgiving is tomorrow; American's will be having their pretty soon as well.

So what does everyone here do for Thanksgiving? Do you celebrate it? What about family?

I know I'm gonna be ultra-pressured into eating bad food, and I don't know if I will or not.

Well the fish is just expensive. I've recently been buying frozen fish, although I'm not sure how good/dangerous that is. The eggs I try to eat a lot, but I go out a lot so I find it hard to get my eggs on those days. It would be really awkward to bring eggs with me, although it's usually fine to br...

I don't get why anyone would want to look built anyways; I find healthier-looking people to be more attractive in general. Anyways have you experimented with nuts? Or using low-mineral water to flush out water-retaining substances in your meals? Someone on the forum mentioned that sweating will rele...
