Site with accurate nutrient info
Hi Haven't posted in a while, but here's a really cool site I came accross. Lots of stats, though I'm not sure how accurate it is. Some things may also be misleading; I compared a raw egg to a fried egg, for example, and noticed that the friend egg had less water (but they were comparing gram for gr...

Re: What to combine with egg yolks?
For some time I had been eating 8 yolks in the morning (no time for this in evening) followed by 8 slow cooked whites. My stomach felt bad so I eventually stopped. On the other hand I did exactly the same in Kuwait in the evening, and felt great... So maybe its a good combo.

Re: Any recommendations about slow cooker ware?
And the number of eggs doesn't matter? What if i were to cook 8 whites?
i also noticed today when i cooked on lowest temp, it took more than 20 minutes, but then i left it too long and it browned a little. I assume this is bad. Is it possible to overcook like this at slowcook temperatures?

Re: Barefoot running & Alexander Technique
Ah, i have not experienced that at all. They fit my foot completely and i am never slipping inside. Ive bought an anti odor spray thought because of their smell, and one of them has got a hole in the front (i have worn these a considerable amount though and have stubbed my toe, walked on rocks and r...

Re: Barefoot running & Alexander Technique
I'm actually not sure exactly what people mean when they say support, but I'm thinking the answeer would be close to no support. In fact, I am even getting calusses on the bottem of my feet, as if I have no shoes at all, which I think is great because it means I'll be better at doing completely bare...

Re: Any recommendations about slow cooker ware?
Si with the egg whites, water is not neccesary? I have found actually when I use olive oil with them I become confused about when they're finished, because the OO ooks like uncoooked eggwhite, and I end up overcooking. How long should they take to cook at 70 - 80 degrees? I'm glad to hear I can do i...

Re: Sun Burn
Hey got burnt pretty badly again. Somehow the kuwaiti sun never harmed me but Istanbul does. Anyhow id i have nothing else at hand can i use an ice cube to pull the burn out? I read this can damage nerves for acute-burns (don't know if that's a real term) but maybe it's ok for sun burns?

Re: Barefoot running & Alexander Technique
I actually like these much better than the vibrams. They feel more minimal (I can feel the heat of the ground through the soles). They really are like socks with a grippy bottem. The bottem rubber is very soft and gives a good grip, which I hope lasts (I imagine soft rubber will quickly wear out). I...

Re: Any recommendations about slow cooker ware?
So with the frying pan, I would have to first cut the chicken up in order to get it small enough to fit under 1 inch of water, right? Would I be losing nutrients to the water this way? I didn't cover the top of the chicken. So the aluminum slows down the heat? Could I leave onions in as an indicator...

Re: My current diet
Maia; part of the reason I got the problem was that I was using bad technique. However now my technique is pretty good. I've worked with many teachers to try and aleviate it.
What I would love to do is have an Alexander Technique teacher help me with my piano technique.

Re: Any recommendations about slow cooker ware?
So my friend eats chicken regularly but only white meat, and has offered me her dark meat free. I tried putting it in the oven today on the lowest temperature, left it for 15 minutes, then turned the oven off, and left it like that as I ran back to my school to get something (took 45 minutes). When ...

Re: My current diet
Ya, I've only been eating 4 yolks a day mostly because I've been having so much salmon (350-400 grams almost every day), so maybe it was a combo of bad eggs and having not been eating very many recently. I was fine the next morning. I started playing piano again yesterday. There's an electronics sto...

Re: Barefoot running & Alexander Technique
I plan to use them for anything. They're my only shoes as my other shoes and sandals have fallen apart (I have this debilitating tightwaddedness with money. I really need to overcome it.) I'm thinking of getting a second pair though because I've read alternating shoes extends the life of the shoe (I...

Re: My current diet
Ok, thanks RRM.
Another question. tonight I had eggyolks (only 6) and I feel a little sick to my stomache. I was feeling it as I ate them; one of those things where I should've listened to my body.
If I eat a piece of garlic in a situation like this, could it help?
