The book is not really about drawing any sort of conclusions or giving recommendations. It is more about enlightening you about what happens to your food and the impact your choices have on the world around you. As ar a physio's, they also don't really know how to correct muscular imbalances. I know...

Bikram Yoga is not different. I know what it is. You may have decreased your symptoms, but it doesn't mean that you decreased your muscular imbalances. Without a proper analysis, you really don't know whether it decreased your imbalances. Plus, I am absolutely sure that you have certain postural iss...

By the way, Christina, I agree with what you said in regards to language. I believe speaking muliple languages is extremely useful because that skill can transfer to almost any occupation and situation. My kids speak English, Chinese, and Spanish. It was my intention to have them learn 3 languages e...

Learning a lot of information is a separate issue from learning useful information. We learn a lot of information in school, but the most of the content is useless in real life. It is useless because the lie we are told is that school prepares you for life. It does not. What we end up realizing is t...

Yoga doesn't do what you think it does. I'd did yoga for a while and I have also analyzed the postures of yoga instructors and yoga practitioners who have done yoga all their lives. Despite the claims of yoga, it does no restore muscular imbalances and correct alignment. If it did, yoga instructors ...

Angie, As a Muscle Balance and Function (MBF) practitioner, here's my opinion on FMS. Doctors don't know what causes the pain, so they just call it FMS and give you some drugs to manage your discomfort. I do not know if there is a nutritional connection to this condition (I can guess there may be), ...

By the way, I know 2 people who are vegetarian. The interesting thing is that one of the vegetarians is fairly overweight and the other has put on a few pounds since she hasn't been exercising as much. In addition, both seem to get sick every couple months. I thought that was kind of interesting sin...

Well, this all relates to the Wai Diet in that this diet does not follow the norm. I looked at the health of everyone around me and things just seem to be getting worse and worse. Even "healthy" people are getting life threatening diseases and scientists just blame it on genetics. Blaming everything...

I believe most of what is taught in school is a bunch of useless garbage. Practical real world knowledge is not taught, but rather trivial information taught. This trivial information has little use in life, unless you plan on going on the TV show Jeopardy. However, we have been conditioned to admir...

Oscar,

There are farmers out there who sell eggs from chickens who were allowed to roam free and hunt for worms and larva. These eggs are really expensive, however, the result is very different. Eggs from these chickens actually have yoke that is orange rather than yellow.

Yeah, I rarely ever took medication, especially antibiotics, even before the Wai Diet. It been a very long time since I took oral antibiotics. Let me also mention that I don't really eat cooked munchie food anymore. I used to eat some cooked munchie food once every few days, however, I noticed that ...

I would highly suggest reading a book called "We Want to Live" by Aajonus Vonderplanitz. He is the creator of the Primal Diet. Though his raw diet is a bit different from the Wai Diet, he has some excellent insight in regards to raw food and health. His book has a very strong emphasis on using raw f...

Remember that the sample diet doesn't contain munch foods. If you are eating munch foods, you aren't doing the 100% pure form of the Wai Diet anymore. If you get sick that often, I wouldn't eat munch foods, especially cooked food, until you have built up a much stronger immune system. Munch food is ...

I just got macadamia nuts. These are great! My 2 and 3 year old can crack the shell open themselves and take the meat out. The meat of the nut comes out really easy in comparison to other nuts. My kids really like the cracking the nuts themselves.

I am in northern CA, near San Jose. I've started my kids on this diet, but I wish I started them as soon as they were off breast milk. Actually, I wish we knew about this diet when my wife was pregnant. I can imagine how much easier it would have been to deal with illness, but at least I started the...
