My immune system is bad ass!

I gotten the typical results of no acne, no bad breath, no negative body odor, smoother and softer skin, receding gums healing, etc.... However, I feel the most incredible result that I did not expect was how strong my immune system has gotten. Let me quickly mention that I took the Wai Diet princip...

Though freezing itself doesn't cause acne and doesn't produce cancerous byproducts, I read somewhere that is still negatively alters nutrients such as protein quality. Is that true?

Industrial chemicals like DDT in the body....

I recall Wai saying that there really no such thing as "detoxification" in the sense that is used by many holistic modalities. For example, I have heard of people in yoga saying how sweating when doing yoga detoxifies the body. Personally, I think don't think there would be any difference if a chemi...

This cracker is so great that my 2 year old son can turn the lever to crack the nut. That's how little strength it takes!

You're talking about making a smoothie. If I am doing that, it is easy to get in the necessary fat. I'm talking about when I eat something like dried mangos. I'm curious how to get fat in with something like that if I can't eat nuts. By the way, here's some coconut cream: http://www.tropicaltraditio...

No avocado with high glycemic fruit?

I thought I read somewhere where RRM said not to eat avocado with high glycemic fruits. That is why the avocado is eaten with tomato and cucumber. The problem I have is that I have an intolerance towards nuts. So what kind of fat should I eat with high glycemic fruits? There's no way I'm going to ju...

Best nut cracker

I bought a hand held nut cracker from nutsline.com and it wasn't that great. I bought Brazil nuts and it look forever to get the nuts out of shell and most of the time, I ended breaking the meat of the nut. I felt like I really had to work my grip strength and endurance to crack the nut. So I ended ...

I'll have to deal with that when the time comes. I have some unorthodox opinions on schooling, so I'll have to see what I end up deciding to do with my kids situation in the future.

Here's something I was wondering....

Let's say coconut oil has an SPF of 2 and macadamia oil has an SPF of 6. If I put both oils on my skin does that give me an SPF protection of 8?

Is this true? (oils thin mucus, cause dry conditions)

I read in a certain raw food book in reference to oils such as olive oil:

"Pressed oils, in many individuals, cause thinning of the mucus that protects the stomach and intestinal linings when oils are eaten too often".

"Pressed oils often cause dry and acrid conditions in the body."

Is this true?

Angie,

Did you buy the sesame seed oil locally or online? If online, where? I can't seem to find any sesame oil locally that isn't toasted.
