I realize it's not as healthy as eating raw shelled almond but I compromise my diet for a few reasons. Mostly having really bad hands; originally I was buying un-shelled nuts and cracking them but the process of cracking them was really bad for my hands. I can't afford one of those electric cracking...

store bought almond milk vs. cow's milk
My parents don't want me making almond milk because they're afraid I'm going insane with my eating habits and that my sister is being influenced by them. So I'm wondering, how bad is the store-bought version? Is it much different than home-made, or is it as bad as dairy? here's a link to the milk I ...

I've been reading a TON about water filters, and am still not certain about it. Carbon filters, the most common and what Brita uses, filter out most toxins/chlorine etc. and claim to leave minerals behind; but none say whether they partially filter minerals, which is what I'm looking for. Reverse os...

If the diet helps significantly with suppleness that would be incredible, since my nerves seem to be to short/not stretched enough now. And also since there are a lot of muscle problems. The rash has finally gone away so I can start getting back to cleaner proteins. About my family, they're not gonn...

Sorry I'm bumping a few old posts today, I haven't been online for a while and just reading these now. Don't know if bumping is frowned upon here. But what I gather here is that taking a food like Green Tea is only useful if I have a certain ailment that Green Tea is known to help with, but I should...

Link to comparison of water filtration systems.
Here's a link to a filtration system comparison http://www.waterfiltercomparisons.com/water_filter_comparison.php?d=gp the first system, aquasana http://www.aquasana.com/category.php?category_id=2 seems to be the best choice. Sorry to reply so late. Thank you for your thought out reply. Everything you say makes sense. Now I was wondering as far as the minerals, I get very thirsty all the time, and I can't afford to keep buying so many fruits or low-mineral water. Would Brita-filtered water be adequate just to rehydrate m...

a translation of waisays concerning plants.
reading this http://www.13.waisays.com/plants.htm I find to be very confusing. I understand that she's saying plants are bad, but I don't really understand all these details. For example, if the only downside to spinach were that the oxalic acid in it caused it to bind to minerals, causing a deficie...
