Re: Calcium or vit D ?
Well, I think the answer is: you can eat either way as far as calcium levels are concerned. Because as I understand the recommendations on wai it is not that we don't need or should avoid anything with calcium, only point is that we don't need all that calcium that comes with eating dairy. That it m...

Re: Calcium or vit D ?
It may take one or two days before the mods are here.. ;) It is weekend... Well, I am no expert, but milk and cheese and dairy is not recommended on wai. Based on a study that shows that in populations that eat a lot of dairy and have high bone density, occurrence of osteoporosis is also higher. I s...

Re: Haleine/ breath
Or actually get a tongue scrape, it is a plastic thing that you can scrape your tongue with, more effective than the brush and you also reach better.. I guess it can be found in any farmacy or shop with a lot of dental stuff..

Re: Haleine/ breath
First I'd recommend brushing your tongue whenever you brush your teeth. It will help during the day.. and also during the night. You can also do it in the middle of the day, just go to the ladies.. brush your tongue, and swish water around in your mouth. :D Second, use tooth picks, or in-between bru...

Re: 'muscles turn into fat' myth true after all?
because fat weigh less than muscle... but will take up more waist space.. that's what I learned anyway..
where the lost muscle go.. I don't know.. I never pretended to know.. not my area of expertise.. but I bet RRM can explain.

Perhaps you did eat more than your needs then? I mean perhaps you overestimated your energy expenditure? :p

Re: Combat dry skin with Coconut Oil?
It depends on the temp in your room. :p It melts at a bit over 20 degrees celsius or so.. I don't know if the naming reflects scientific categorization. And I'd say coconut oil is great - at least for my skin. Yes you will have a little shine. But, you can use tissue paper or a towel and pat it down...

Re: Aide, Help
I can answer that I think. Yes, it is perfectly ok to take your egg yolks before bed, in fact it is good, will give you nice sleep and doesn't affect the skin. As far as I understand you can also take the proteins before bed, but you might sleep better if the fish has digested for like 1 or 2 or mor...

Re: Making Juice; what kind of juicer?
The silicone plug is there to make the juice stay in the bowl and go out in the juice spout.. there can be build up of fruit fiber that clogs, but usually it doesn't.. When it does you will notice and you can just stop the machine, and take it apart and undo the clogging.. easy.

Re: Photo Log on the Sample Diet
I see that my reasoning is not clear: I meant, since you are not so extremely physically active, I wonder if it is adviseable to substitute fruit with micronutrients for 100 grams of sugar. Since gaming is not really an excersise... That's what I meant. But sure, a lil extra sugar to keep the energy...

Re: Making Juice; what kind of juicer?
No you should keep it tucked neatly in place. Because otherwise the juice starts to get out of the pulp ejection hole too... Just take it out while cleaning the bowl then put it back in place..

Re: Photo Log on the Sample Diet
I still wonder if you get enough micronutrients.. I mean, the OJ is good.. (provided it is you yourself who has pressed it), but it is only 1 L. 2 apples and 2 pears are not much, and also, they are two of the less nutritious fruits I think? You haven't mentioned if you are training or walking or st...
