Re: which juice-extractor to get? (not OJ)

I am working on a chart of juicers. If I had to rank juicers, after wading through prices and brand names, I came to the conclusion that it is not the price nor the brand that one should filter out a product for. Instead the parameters of priority are: 1) Does it break? (If I see a comment that says...

Re: which juice-extractor to get? (not OJ)

To find a juicer that will not likely put any thing bad into the juice. I noticed that the plastic eroding in my handheld white orange reamer. That means the acids from the orange is scratching it up (; although it could be the sponge I am cleaning it with). That means no plastic juicers for me. The...

Re: which juice-extractor to get? (not OJ)

I am finally considering getting a juicer.
Could any of you tell me which one is best now?
Which ones broke, which ones are hard to clean, which ones are not safe (aluminum...etc), which ones have slowest rotations, which ones can juice the impossible.
And which ones lasted.

Re: Wai should be high in animal foods and low in fruit/carbs

Panacea is there a specific brand of goats milk you buy? Do you eat egg yolks any more? RRM, more questions: What about the calcium content of goats milk is it too much calcium? Would you be speeding up bone formation and bone aging with the milk? What about egg yolks? Egg yolks are for baby chicken...

Re: Plant sterols and cholesterol

Hi, I was watching the July 2015 CBC Marketplace, youtube video, on 10 "healthy" food labels, exposed. When an (orange) juice company claimed that their Oasis Health Break Cholestprevent juice (mango cranberry flavoured orange juice) contained 2 g or sterols. To make their product seem a better choi...

Re: Wai should be high in animal foods and low in fruit/carbs

I'm now eating a diet of only one food - raw milk. Technically I'm vegetarian because it's not the flesh of an animal, but it's obviously a zero plant-food diet. Wouldn't believe the number of people that are 'shocked' that raw milk is a complete food (even when it comes from cows or goats) and con...

Re: Hyperkalemia induced by excessive fruits

Not only on tv, people around talking all the time. What do you mean you didn't know sugar is bad for you? {lol, joking} But it is instilled in children a long time ago. Probably as cavity prevention measures. ~~~~~ Toddler Rhyme ~~~~~ Papa: Johnny, Johnny, Johnny: Yes papa? Papa: Eating sugar? Joh...

Re: Hyperkalemia induced by excessive fruits

Good point! A blood test is only one point in time, and volumes of nutrients in blood depends on when the nutrients are taken in and how long they last in circulation. I remember my grandma measuring high amounts of sugar in her blood test. The doctor wanted her to go a diabetic medication. But my g...

Re: EMFs

So I didn't want to crash the Ultimate health guide thread with a discussion on EMFs, hence I created this thread. Mr. PC, you posted so much about EMFs, your post made me think so much. And it is funny, alot of tips you mentioned are what I did recently. The only thing was that I was not after EMFs...

Re: EMFs

Some easy ways to reduce EMFs First, theory. 3 types of EMFs are RFs (Radio Frequencies, from phones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth). ELFs (electric fields, from anything electric. Even if it's off, as long as it's plugged in). MFs (magnetic fields, from anything electric, only when it's on. Only badly wired ca...

Re: Hyperkalemia induced by excessive fruits

Good, you are healthier than me. I guess it is just me with the cough and runny nose thing, I currently still eat like a half SAD amount of foods. But several months ago when I went to visit a guy that learnt TCM, to get the cough to stop, he told me to avoid eating white coloured foods, like choosi...
