My diet

I started the WaiDiet properly a few days ago, so I though maybe I could write something here. I wake up every day at 6am. In an hour or so I eat all the concentrated protein foods for the day: 3 egg yolks (~50gr), followed by 50gr fish, and finally ~10 brazil nuts. In the next 3-4 hours I don't do ...

Re:

Im glad you stress "from one another". The only way this diet can spread, is as an "Open Source" 'movement' (Wainux?) The source code is " Logical reasoning based on scientifically established facts, not led by established beliefs/reasoning ". The WaiDiet needs lots of people that are able to think...

Re: Infected tooth & Stomach ulcer

What is most troublesome besides my constant stomach discomfort is the anxiety/depression i'm experiencing. Could it be linked to my stomach? I get this agitated feeling in my head for no reason! It is so unbearable sometimes that I'm forced to take a Xanax. I never had this problem before the ulce...

Re: Fructose & leptin resistance

Here's the article: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2584858/ The diet was 60% fructose. Sounds a bit too much to me, I don't think in reality you could come to such a high consumption of fructose. It's not very good experiment in my opinion, they could've at least have more groups with d...

Re: Calcium-Phosphorus ratio

I read a bit more on the subject. This ratio in the body is largely regulated through the urine: up to 900-1000mg/day of phosphorus but only 150mg/day of calcium are expelled with the urine. So everything is fine then. The theory is based on the calcium/phosphorus ratio in the blood, which is around...

Calcium-Phosphorus ratio

Ideally this should be 2:1, at least that's what everyone says. However, I for example have it the other way around 1:2, and pretty much everyone else on this diet as it seems. Just search for "calcium phosphorus" on this forum, you'll get a bunch of nutrient lists from the calculator, and in pretty...

Re: Eating termites?

Yep, have fun panacea. Insects are very popular in Mexico, at one dinner there I was supposed to eat all those kinds of termites, worms, etc. So include Mexico when googling, I'm pretty sure some research will pop up. First link I got: http://www.food-insects.com/Insects%20as%20Human%20Food.htm Just...

Re: Eating termites?

But why do we have to even look at what we have eaten in prehistoric times, or what apes are eating now? At least to me it doesn't make much sense. I'd consider their menu only if they have lived longer and healthier than normal. We're much more intelligent and can do better than any animal/homo ere...
