oh, and --since I apparently love this subject so much-- I also get my period on every new moon (and hence ovulate on every full moon). I only noticed it until recently (because my new calender clocks the moon)...and so I looked back on all my past cycles and realized it's been like this all along! ...

balsamic vinegar

Is balsamic vinegar okay/not okay, not just for skin but also in general?
I see nothing wrong with it, but I wonder sometimes if it is too acidic to be very healthy. I eat a lot.

Thanks

I am just happy that my periods are regular, period. ;) It started like clockwork, for the first time in my life (since I was 13!), as soon as I started eating this way. Now I get really excited, in a really dorky way, when I feel my periods coming on. I know exactly when I'm ovulating, when I shoul...

I think it would be fun to share photos! However, I think posting photos for everyone to see--for example on this board or website--would be too much an invasion of privacy (at least for me).

Hi Frieda, Sure! What I eat changes every few months, often going through phases, and also depending on what's in season. Although the orange juice never gets old and is very convenient. These days, I'll usually eat: --a few bananas (dipped in olive oil) --a couple oranges, mandarins, or tangerines ...

Hi Ami,

Yes, it definitely can! I personally eat a ton! Just make sure it is really raw. :)

Yeah, I would definitely spend some time reading through the old forum...it really explains everything in detail. This diet is for everyone...although its good effects are probably most noticeable on people with acne and cellulite (i.e. people with sensitive skin), and overweight people, since these...

Hi sabie, (I'm not sure if this is what you meant) but it doesn't matter if the coconut oil that you use as moisturizer is raw, refined, organic, etc. or not. The "rawness" of it only matters if you ingest it. btw, I just started using coconut oil on my face, and it is really the most perfect moistu...

Hi harlotsdance, Unfortunately, I don't think pot is good for your skin (even if you vaporized it), sorry. Maybe you could cut back? I view it as a sort of "treat" on rare occasions, or if I'm very, very stressed out and yoga, meditation, etc. don't cut it. Personally, I mildly breakout if I smoke t...

delicious (Wai-friendly) guacamole

I am always trying different ways of eating egg yolk. My current favorite is yolk mixed together with avocado, tomatoes, balsamic vinegar...mmm...and sometimes, when I want an extra "crunch" with it, I add chopped red onion. It tastes SO good, just like (really satisfying) gaucemole! I remember read...

Re: Oil on face, in detail

Yeah, I also have a couple questions about oil! I use a lot, not only on my face, but all over my body (after shower)...is that bad, because then doesn't it completely discourage ANY sebum from coming up? Or does it not matter what is hydrating the outer layer--concerning skin aging, for example--se...

Re: Timing eating to loose weight

Hey slea! I'm not sure what the answer is, but here is my experience: I slimmed down--i.e. lost the bloat, or "water weight"--as soon as I started this diet. Unfortunately, I kept eating too much (raw) protein--about 8 yolks or an ounce of fish daily!--because I thought my skin would break out if I ...

Re: my experience(s)

That's awesome, Corinne! Yeah, you can count me in as being spritually "awakened"...in fact, for me, I feel like it's almost the number 1 greatest thing that has happened to me as a result of the diet. And I can't pretend that it's just a coincidence that it's been this way since starting to eat lik...

Re: In college on Wai diet

I'm in college, too! I'm the only person I know not on a meal plan... :) I think it's hard in college because we usually don't have a lot of our own money to spend...not that this diet is so expensive, but fruit, sushi, and of course bottled water, isn't always cheap. Plus, my college is in a reside...
