Re: Muscle gain with only yolks and intermittent fasting
Ouch... I think I do beat myself up and that doesn't make things easier. Feeling guilty and weak even works the other way around. Things seemed better when I did not focus on the protein and I also consumed a lot of fat. When I started IF I used coconut oil in my morning coffee, I heard that wasn't ...

Re: Muscle gain with only yolks and intermittent fasting
Ooops... I mixed up shelled and unshelled... Sorry! I try to buy shelled, so I can unshell them by hand. I know what a shell is, feel so stupid right now. ;D I've been IF-ing for a about a month. My body still isn't used to it I guess. I experience a lot of hunger during the mornings, I thou...

Re: Muscle gain with only yolks and intermittent fasting
Plus.. I thought intermittent fasting would protect muscle tissue so it won't be broken down and used for energy. That is the difference between calorie restricting only without fasting versus IF? Or do you think that isn't true? And the whole 'being fat adapted' theory? Our bodies should be more in...

Re: Muscle gain with only yolks and intermittent fasting
Thanks RRM!! :D I eat 4-7 yolks a day, so eating 10 is no problem at all. (or eating 6 with 50 gr. nuts) I wonder if I should restrict my calorie intake to lower my BF? I am afraid calorie restriction might inhibit muscle growth. Should I eat according to my energy requirements of should I eat more ...

Muscle gain with only yolks and intermittent fasting
I feel like I really need some guidance in my attempt to build some muscle. I really got lost in the protein-struggle. I am a female, 174cm and 59 kg, with 23.7% BF (with caliper, 4 points). I would like to lower my BF and increase my musclemass. I know I am not fat or overweight, but I really don't...

Re: Headache - energy intake - no stomach hunger
Yes, my skin is softer and clearing up already, even though I didn't stick to the diet 100%. Especially my forehead is a lot better than two weeks ago. Still some returning inflammations (always on the same spot) are on my cheek / jaw. Think those stubborn things will take some time to leave?...

Re: Headache - energy intake - no stomach hunger
Thanks Oscar!
I guess it also has something to do with patience...
And what do you think about the yolks? Should 2-3 be enough or can/should I eat more?
I have to say I already see some progress in my skin condition. That's great!!

Re: Headache - energy intake - no stomach hunger
I use an application to measure my intake. I notice my intake is quite unstable... Some days very high (3000, mostly coming from dates and bananas), other days more like a normal female my age would eat. (2200)
But now I quitted buying dates, there will be less difference I guess. I'll do my best!

Re: Headache - energy intake - no stomach hunger
In addition (forget to ask, have so many questions...):
Can I eat more than 2 or 3 egg yolks or should I wait until my face is totally clear?
I think I can use some extra protein, given my activity?
Tnx!

Re: Headache - energy intake - no stomach hunger
Thanks RRM, for answering my questions (and moving my topic tot the right section). :) I planned to drink only juices, but somehow that’s not easy for me. I experience I really want to chew and I also long for fruits that aren’t so juicy / watery (like the bananas and dates). But maybe that’s becaus...

Headache - energy intake - no stomach hunger
Hi everyone, I started Wai sample diet (again) last Monday, in the first place for acne. I really suffer (mentally) from big inflammations, not always very visible (thanks to my hair), but yet.. I am 31, too old for spots and they make me quite insecure from time to time.. :( I tried the diet two ti...
