NEW yolk 'n coco

Post by Corinne »

I invented a new way to eat yolks. It's very simple:

For a portion of 6 yolks, add 1 tablespoon (or a bit less, to taste) of extra virgin coconut oil and a dash (no more than a small teaspoon) of sugar.
mix gently with a fork till you get a smooth paste-like consistancy.
Enjoy!

Important note: make sure you check for 'cold pressed' 'extra virgin' coconut oil which is quite expensive (30 € a liter).
Some brands heat their coconut oil to remove the smell. It's not raw and it is also much cheaper than the 'real stuff'

Hi there Corinne!
I am browsing the forum and read this post, it sounds yummy.
I did something similar but different today: instead of the juice with olive oil, "eggnog" from 1 egg yolk, 1 cup (2.5 dl) cold water, 1 tbsp dextros (grapesugar) and a little saline. I had one in-between each fruit-meal.
I also read you're an at teacher. So am I
I haven't set up my practise yet though, I'll start mid August. Very exciting!
How goes it in New York for you?

Welcome Melis!

So where are you based? Where did you train in the AT?
Did you just graduate? Tell me more about yourself!

I trained in Amsterdam with Arie-Jan Hoorweg. Now I'm in NYC.
it's not easy to set up shop here, but I'm actively trying to find students.

Good luck with wai. What are your reasons to do the diet?

Is it really possible to store raw Coconut Oil?
My experience is that it deteriorates very rapidly.
(Corinne dear, it is good to see your name - even in a forum post from 2010 :-)
