Mmmm, is it at least a pleasing yellow?

I'm also pretty yellow even within the Chinese population. I wonder if my mom would notice anything if I turn more yellow

To me, it looks unnaturally yellow.
I guess I've figured out why I am sometimes yellow . It's the lighting! It gets even eerily yellowy under stage lighting but under sunlight, it's back to my normal olive skin.

Oriental people have yellow undertones so it's no surprise you're yellow.

Maybe it's time to have a talk with the stage lighting engineer.

I was a photographer at the Vienne jazz festival last summer, and the lighting was so terrible that the photos were sometimes unusable. We're living in a techno/hip-hop generation where young people think that it's hip to project blue spotlights on a world-class artist for the entire concert. BB King was purple or yellow for the entire concert. What can you say?!

wild salmon (and flamingos) are that colour because of the antioxidant axanstanthin which I still can't sbell, which they get from their diet.

farmed salmon aren't fed their natural diet, so they have to be fed colourants....which should, theoretically be able to affect you, but you'd have to eat a lot. people don't eat enough salmon on the Wai diet.

I'd think it was the mandarins. *nods* Not for any scientific reason but because you'd expect people to turn yellow eating lots of mandarins. *nods*
