Some Observations; focus, activity, egg yolks

Has anyone noticed that if they aren't doing something energetic or some activity that requires your focus, then you will feel a s sugar low.

Its like the sugar in your blood wants to do some work and it makes a big difference when your just sitting around doing nothing compared to doing something active.

When studying, my focus is best when I have some music playing or I'm at the library where other people are their. It feels good to go somewhere to study rather than just sit in my room. I feel this need more and more often. Perhaps just sitting in my room most of the time has led me to this conclusion or maybe I just need to balance it out and make sure to get out and get myself moving.

Also, I notice that when I try to eat more yolks than my body wants that my body will feel a little sick or just a little annoyed with consuming 1 or 2 more. Last night I ate five, compared to 6 or 7, and I felt great, whereas when I ate 7 or more my stomach would feel a little too full/uncomfortable.

Yes! I have a desk job, and if I don't get up and move around often, I get a really tired feeling. Sometimes I feel as if I need a nap and I haven't even done anything! I feel ten times better if I get up and take the stairs a couple of times.

I also get the same feeling from the yolks as well. I get a nauseous feeling if I get too much and I never eat more than two. So I don't know if it's just sometimes that the body isn't in the mood for them or what. It's been a little hard for me lately because I just haven't been wanting to do the yolks at all. I have to make myself eat them. I know it isn't a freshness issue. I get them from a local farmer.

Do you eat fish?
I notice that they are essential, but I can only eat some a couple times a month as where I go to school there is no fresh fish.

I have a feeling I need more EPA, DPA and DHA but where I live I can't get fresh fish.
What about supplements for them?

When you consume quite some olive oil, you indeed need fish to compensate for the lack of omega-3 in the oil.
Also, you may increase your egg yolk intake (and decrease the intake of oil a bit) and consume more fruits that are relatively high in omega 3s, such as strawberries, muskmelon and cucumber.

If you want to take supplements, you carefully need to consider the ratio's (3% of total fat intake is perfect), as you also dont want to take too much omega 3s.

It helps me to be around others with similar energy in order to get work done. I work at home alone, so whenever I can get around people to do my work, it helps me a bit. Not al;ways, but once in awhile.

I don't get nauseaus at all from egg yolks, except once a looooong time ago...I think the egg yolks were tainted. You really have to know your source for raw egg yolks and know how to properly store them...and to make sure they are really fresh

same with raw fish...I get my maguro tuna from a local sushi restaurant that has agreed to sell it to me.
