"The real human diet is a totally carnivorous one"
This means that they are not restricted to eating just the meat, but that they also eat organs, so that they will ingest vitamin C anyway.

Many of them say they just eat meat. They say that vitamin C and sugar metabolism are related and that if you don't eat a lot of carbs you need much less vitamin C. This makes me wonder why true carnivours naturally produce their own vit C.

They get some of this info from a book by a guy named Taubes, called good calories, bad calories

Thats because all animals (and us) need quite some vitamin C, and unless your diet supplies you with plenty of vitamin C (species that have fruits on their menu), you need to have the capacity to produce it yourself (species that dont eat fruits naturally, can produce their own vitamin C).
This is regardless carb intake (carnivores hardly ingest carbs).

Inuit would obtain vitamin C by eating the adrenal glands of the mammals they killed. Also there is glycogen in muscle tissue of fresh kill.
I do so like green eggs and ham. Thank you, thank you. Sam I am.
