Yolks increase

Post by hfaruk10 »

hello again.
It's been a while since my last post when I wasn't sure
about my diet. In a meantime I reduced a protein intake
(from 5 yolks to 3, i dont eat fish at all)

But now I figured out that the protein intake (only 3 yolks) might be
low. So i'm gonna increase it (to 5, 6 yolks again), but the thing is
I dont know whether to do it gradully (3 yolks one day then 4 the other etc till 6),
or i could make jump from 3 to 6 yolks immediately ?

I've been on diet (100%) for an approximately 8 weeks. I can see a slight skin improvement, but it's far than my truly expectations are. i've been eating lots of fruit with sips of OO, OJ, salad & OO, and yolks as mentioned above...

Thanx

You are right, 3 yolks are little in the long run.

Gradually is always a good way, but since, as you say, you have only
had slight skin improvement, it might be tricky to see if you are getting
worse or not. I would still recommend gradual increase though.

Do 4 for a week, then 5 for a week, then 6, if you feel you need as many.
I do 7 yolks, or 2-3 yolks and some fish/meat/oyster/mussels a day.

Hey Fictor,

I gotta one problem here. I'm becoming impatient about these acne thing. Each an every day I get new pimples. it seems that there's no progress. I've been on sample strict diet for aboout 2.5 months and dunno what to do. The thing is that I dont know what i'm doing wrong. What do u think about it?

I would not know.

I have been on the Wai diet (more or less sample diet)
for over one year, and still have some minor acne.

For some it takes longer.

Try to make a list of exactly what you eat, and when in the day, how
big servings etc. and maybe I, or someone ells, will be able to help out :)

Okay, it's like this:

First thing I eat when I get up is one or two peeled apples with a bit of OO. I make myself a juice about 500 ml and add 50 ml OO. During the day I may take sip or two of OJ and eat some peeled apples or salad (tomato and OO) whenever I feel my blood sugar level varies. At 7 pm I may take 3 yolks, and 3-4 more before going to bed.
So actually during the day I eat :

2 kg apple
sufficient OO
0.5 liters OJ
1 kg of tomato
6-7 yolks

and that's it

Tough case! It sounds like you are doing the diet correctly...

Well, for a strict sample diet, it might be to many yolks, but
for me there is no difference in acne on 3 yolks or 6 yolks, so
it might not be the culprit.

I suggest you try to vary your fruits a little more (throw in some
mango, pineapple, bananas, figs, plums etc.

Of course, this is not something you must do, and it will probably
not do any difference regarding acne, but it will ensure you get
more of certain nutrients that might be lacking in the apple, tomato,
orange version of this diet, and give you some more variation, which
will make it easier for you to maintain this diet for as long as it takes.

Also, be sure to flush your mouth with water after having acidic fruits
like apple and orange (juice)! This is to prevent acid damage on your enamel.

As far as I can see you're doing things right. Are you sure your eggs aren't pasteurized?

I'm not sure about the pasteurized eggs. It's bad since the usage of heat right?
Well then I should try buying domestic ones?

Yes, pasteurizing means using high temperature for a short time, which causes 'dirty' protein. If you can get domestics eggs, sure, try them and see if it makes any difference.

yep, I'll do that.

But what about eating a piece of peeled pear 1.5 hours after (3) egg yolk ingestion? Does it make any huge difference in acne improvement?

As far as I know, eating something 1,5 hours after eggs are perfectly fine.

I do it all the time, but then again, I am not 100% clear yet...

No, thats fine indeed.
Whether the eggs have been pastuerized or not, thats essential though.

Understood, but what about mixing sugar with yolks and eating 7 yolks at one sitting? is it bad concerning acne?
