Shelf-Life of Dehydrated Fish

Post by dionysus »

8)

Hello everyone.

I've decided to by a food dehydrator. I was wondering, in your experience, how long dehydrated fish stayed fresh for; fridgerated and non-fridgerated (hiking purposes)

Thankyou :)

It depends on how much water is "taken out" of it.

I have stored very dry dehydrated fish in a refrigerator for
weeks. The whole fridge smelled of dried fish, but the fish stayed
"fresh" :)
