Hi Friends,
Should we guarantee the safety of our pets through inspection and liability actions as we do for people? Most people think of their pets as a part of their family. A family member so to speak. Why should their safety not be mandated as well as our own? I am a believer in government and that is why I am a Liberal. Pets are a big part of our nation...It might already be mandated and if so it would appear to be another colossal blunder by this Administration that allowed uninspected wheat to enter America and be fed to our "family members"..
Is there a government inspection process for pet/animal food

Sure, but the safety of our food is not at all guaranteed by the current regulationsallan101 wrote:Should we guarantee the safety of our pets through inspection and liability actions as we do for people?
(no checking for heterocyclic amines and oxysterols, for example)
And, no, i would not want to give dogs or cats inspected wheat either...
