Yolks in the morning

Post by Ducky »

Wai advises us to only eat fruits in the morning.

Is it ok to eat two yolks in the morning two?

It kind of sooths my mood.

Yes, that certainly is ok, as long as you have the time to rest after consuming the yolks (not being physically active).

Just 20 minutes of driving and then sitting in a class room listening to the teacher. :)

Eggs in morning or evening

Post by Kasper »

I usually eat eggs in the evening, but I feel to have a better day if I take them in the morning

Anyone with the same experience, or is it just placebo?

is your blood sugar up before and after eating them for the rest of the day? or are you using them for energy?

i have eaten eggs in the morning when i had nothing else. i ate two and it sustained my energy, but not very long. i can't remember exactly but it wasn't for much longer than an hour or so.

i've also eaten eggs 2-3 at a time after working out in the morning, but when you do that, more of the protein is absorbed for reconstruction.

eggs will definitely make you feel happy though, it's all those good fats! :)

the real question is whether or not it is ideal. if you consume eggs in the morning and none at night, you might not have much protein available for repair when you sleep.

try consuming avocado and/or brazil nuts throughout the morning. you will probably experience the same good feelings.

Its definitely not placebo.
Egg yolks are extremely high in good cholesterol, which activates serotonin receptors,
which makes you feel good.

If the effect is less strong when you eat them in the evening,
you may need a little more egg yolk (in the evening).
And as MartianWarrior said; taking them in the morning is less ideal,
as more of the protein is utilized for energy instead of (re)construction puproses.
How many egg yolks do you eat daily?

Sure.
But you may want to alternate yolks with fish from time to time.

9 is best, but if you sit on the couch all night,
7 is perfect too.

Lately, I have been watching the World Cup matches after eating animal food. Is that healthy? Is it also healthy to suppress the adrenaline or to let it run its course?

I read that we should rest for about 1.5 hours after eating raw animal food to let it digest properly. What are the consequences of incomplete digestion? Is toxic nitrogen converted into ureum?

The first match of the day is at 7.30pm here. The second match is at 10pm.

Please advice what is the best time I should eat my yolks?

Sure, its just that a greater percentage of the protein will be converted into glucose.

You cannot suppress it (unless you stop watching).
Its most healthy to act upon the adrenalin; when you feel the adrenalin rise,
you start running. :)

Health wise?
Nothing.
But if you are susceptible to acne, it may cause acne.
Is toxic nitrogen converted into ureum?
nitrogen is not toxic, but ammonium is. (nitrogen>ammonium>ureum)

Right after the second match.
