auto-vacuum fresh food box?

i can't find a dehydrator anywhere but was offered an 'auto-vacuum fresh food box'. will this work for fish?

I think it will be more expensive.
How much does it cost?

its on sale for $40 but i cant find any info that it works for meats. the demonstrations all say "fruits, vegetables, breads & More!"

well the auto-vacuum box was a disaster. I put tuna in it and overnight the fish excreted a pool of juice and it smelled rancid

Dont throw it away, as maybe it works very well for dehydrated tuna / beef etc.
Then the juices have gone already.
Thats how the beef jerky is sold anyway; in those vacuumed plastics, no?
