Other Fish

Post by WaiWay »

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if it is safe to consume any type of raw fish in regards to skin. I've eaten a few different fin-fish with no problem, but there are some available that are not on the wai diet nutrition calculator? Why is this? Are they safe to consume?

Thanks

Because the wai (or any other) nutrition calculator can not possibly have all the foods in the world. Maybe tell us which fish is in question?

I wouldn't imagine it being unrealistic having every Wai food on that calculator...

Anyway, I was thinking about stuff like sardines, and maybe even octopus in the future. Here is my local sashimi shop http://www.tarosfish.com/pdf/fishlist_web2.pdf

Also, are those fish egg things okay? What do you think about fin-fish vs. shell-fish?

It is unrealistic.
A list of all the foods in the world is seemingly endless.
So is a list of all the Wai foods.
And who is going to take the time to look up all the nutrient data available for each food,
and put them in the calculator? (= unrealistic x unrealistic x unrealistic)
