is it ok to eat the skin of fish? its really chewy

No, you better not. Its there to protect the flesh.
When some animal food is extremely chewy, it means that it contains a lot of connective tissue
that is very hard to digest.
Its the flesh that you need. The more tender, the better.

The same is true regarding fiber in fruits; Fiber is very hard to digest,
so that the more juicy (and the less fiber), the better.
And then of course ripeness is essential too; the softer and sweeter (not bitter / acidic) , the better.
