What oil? Which vinegar? What about sugar?

honey and olive oil

Post by rischott »

I'll be on a plane/transfering for about 20 hours strait. is it alright if I just sip olive oil and eat honey the entire time? I requested a 'fruit' meal but not sure what that entails. I don't have acne, just from an energy/health standpoint.
Would sipping o.o. and eating tea/table spoon of honey every hour or so work?

Hello rischott :)

Oh, the AGONY of long haul flights!

I would suggest you bring some dried fruits like dates or raisins on board. What I always do is is bring along some apples, oranges, bananas, dates and raisins. Of course, olive oil too.

Some airlines serve fruit meals that are preserved in cans so you might want to be cautious :!:

But if you are comfortable in bringing just olive oil and honey, or perhaps it's most convenient for you then go ahead! It's better than nothing. I once went 23 hrs "food-less" because the airline either served preserved fruits or forgotten to place my special meal request and I didn't pack some fruits with me to take on board.

Have a save flight!
