Sprouted sunflower seeds OK?

Post by nini »

Anything wrong with sprouted sunflower seeds? Or with any other sprouted seeds? We have used alfalfa, broccoli, leek and fenugreek so far.

According to The Free Acne Book, these would be considered Munch Foods. Yes they have antinutrients, but I think as Munch Foods go, they are certainly on the healthier side of things, but that is after the 100% Sample Diet- where of course the goal is to eliminate any food-stuff that may be causing acne, or other problems. If these aren't causing you any problems, it should be alright, right Oscar, RRM?

Indeed, they are munch foods.
Sprouts contain quite some antinutrients, as they are small 'plants' that 'want to grow' and be protected aginst consumption.

Also try to consider 'what your body feels about them'.
If we dont use any seasoning, flavouring or food combining at all, hardly anyone feels like eating a few handfuls of sprouts, whereas this is not true for well ripened fruits.
