Hi felow europeans,

It becomme difficult to find raw nuts on (super)market, surelly the end of winter. I'm runing out of hazelnuts, so if you know how to get them deliver unshelled please tell it to Europe here ! If you know a producer that's even better.

For my part, I have found raw shelled Brazil nuts deliver from germany or UK (and other nuts but raw shelled macademian are a bit prohibitive):

Post by claireelis »

hi all i ordered some nuts from orkos.com. i also ordered some exotic fruits and young coconut - yummy :) i'll let you know about the quality soon - i think it all arrives next monday.

this shipments are from france. the shipment is fixed price: 9,95. i live in NL and i'm pretty sure its the same for all of the EU.

btw they also sell fresh vacuum packed raw wild fish, meat, etc.

i really hope the service and quality are good! this would make my dietary habits so easy :)

the delivery went well but they sent me shelled instead of unshelled. i'm going to forgo nuts for a while, but i'll try again to buy them unshelled and post when i've found a good source.

Only Brazil nuts or macadamia nuts in the shell are really raw for sure...

little inshell nuts, where are you ?

At the mourning bruxelles market I saw huge hazel nuts (2 to 3 time bigger). It seem to me not appetizing and also this particularly huge one, like for industry, coming from France surely are irradiated (or ionized wat ever).
