Raisins are ok correct?

Post by goodfella333 »

Raisins are ok to consume right? It's just that they have a TON of sugar. About 17 small raisins have 30g of sugar. Should I just have one serving of 17?

Raisins are ok to consume as long as they are sundried. Combine them with oil or fat(ty foods) like (self-shelled) nuts. Then you can eat as much as your body needs.

Those should be fine, except for the Golden Raisins, which are treated with the preservative sulfur dioxide.

Keep in mind that dried fruits more readily cause gasses than fresh fruits, but if you dont experience gasses, then there is no problem.
