Peruvian Olives, wild, raw, sun-dried, unsprayed, unsalted

Post by justin1 »

Hi,
*Question: what about sun-dried olives?
(Peruvian Olives, wild, raw, sun-dried, unsprayed, unsalted)

---do they contain dirty protein or any other harmful stuff because of being dried under the sun?

I read that sun-dried fish develop dirty protein....?

What about olives, is it the same logic applied here too?

Also, what about all the sun-dried fruits: figs, apricots, raisins recommended by wai... - do they contain dirty stuff as well...?

I am in the process of ordering these olives, and really appreciate a prompt answer, do not want to by any stuff which can cause adverse effects in me...

Thanks in advance,

Technically yes, but fruit contains far less protein than fish, so should be far less problematic. Order the olives and see how they are (and let us know ;)).

i already have ordered these olive before from UK twice..., now it is my 3rd time...:)

they taste well,... the acne is not my concern, i was just wondering about the "dirty"-stuff theory, but i get your point, proteins are the main object to consider if undergone any processing...

Oscar, could you find out or point me to the source where i can find more info about building of "dirty" protein and other "dirty" stuff while processing...?

cooking heating is clear to me... sun-drying.... and dehydrating... - these two options, for a fish for example...? what temperatures, etc...?

could you as RRM about that?

thanks in advance,

Tecnically yes, but these are not harmful; not even regarding acne.
The olives must be properly soaked though, to eliminate the oleuropin.
Sun-drying and dehydrating is ok.
