Raisins

Post by Roocious »

Was wondering if anyone knew the quality of the popular - Sun-Maid brand raisins?

a question - raisins are mostly the skin of the grape - wouldn't that just be a concentrated amount of pesticides (and other not-good stuff) ?

I recommend that you find an organic brand. Make sure they are sun dried and without any vegetable oil and/or conservatives.

Procentage-wise, raisins are also very high in fiber and mild anti-nutrients, as they are concentrated; the good stuff is gone! (the juice)

I'm noticing they don't do justice for my skin. I just tried some organic raisins - and goji berries. The "sandy on the beach" bumps are back on the forehead.
