Organic ripe avocado

Post by Kasper »

Hi all,

I just want to say I've always disgusted avocado since I'm a kid.
But when I was in Maroc, I tried one, and I love that one.

No I find out that it has to do something with ripeness.
I only like them if they are perfectly ripe. Even if they are almost perfectly ripe, I can stil taste that taste I really not like.
I actually prefer avocadoes that are partly rot

Also normal avocadoes I was able to get the last couple of days, thay were perfectly ripe, but I don't like them much, I don't disgust them, just neutral.

But now I tried some perfectly ripe organic avocadoes, and guess what, I love them !
Even better than that one in Maroc. :D

It's really amazing because avocadoes are I think the single only thing I've always disgusted. (okay, I also disgust spirulina and chlorella, but who doesn't :P )

Ah yeah, (unfortunately) organic always tastes better than non-organic.

Fortunately (at least here) organic avacados are typically about the same price and often a better price than the non-organic ones! :D Sometimes they are a fair amount smaller, but I've heard nutrient density makes up for the size... I don't know how true that is, but it makes some sense.
